Play it from anywhere but the swimming pool! A fairway wood needs to get the ball airborne quickly and easily while providing distance. The upside down design of our Tight Lies fairway woods lowers the center of gravity so effectively it was awarded a U.S. Patent (#5,465,970). Transfer that to a shallow face with 16� loft and the ball gets airborne with maximum distance. Whether the lies are lush or tight, the position of the shallow face behind the ball promises a good shot. When played from poor lies, the results are simply incredible. Golfers of all skill levels will experience the same feeling. The Tight Lies fairway woods are all called Strong because the patented VMI Technology delivers distance beyond any comparable club at the same loft.
