Excellent Club for Lefties
By Dennis C. from Holly Springs, NC on August 3, 2012

Purchased this club based on positive reviews. Replace my previous Adams #3 and #5 and am glad I did. Noticed at least a 10-15 yard average increase in distance off the tee. Much straighter and true if hit right. Large sweet spot allows for off hits, but still gets the ball where you want it. I'm hitting more fairways they in the past and am really enjoying this model.

Solid club, trades away some distance for safety
By David Hostetler from Baltimore, MD on December 4, 2011

I've played 5 rounds with this club now, and am using it as my primary driving club. I felt confident with the club right away, as it's forgiving and is producing reliable shots for me.
But the weird thing is that I'm getting only a few more yards out of it than I am a Calloway Diablo 3 hybrid (21 degree), which is another new club in my bag. Shots off the Adams 3 wood are very high, with a climb-stall-drop style of flight path, whereas the ball seems to rocket straight off the hybrid and has much straighter ascent.
I'm not unhappy with the 3 wood, but am disappointed to find (thus far) that for whatever reason I'm making tee shots that seem more like a mid-to-low iron than a 'lofted driver'.
I've only tried a few fairway shots with the club, and in that role it's done well and is much more hit-able than my previous 3 wood.
Pros:
- Classic head shape
- easy to hit
- produces high ball trajectory that makes the club more utilitarianCons:
- Short yardage
- 'U' groove on bottom of club collects dirt/debris and otherwise seems to serve no purposeI would recommend this item to a friend.
Low profile 3 Wood
By Alan from Stratford, ON on November 29, 2011

This 3 wood has a low profile and large sweet spot...
Easy to hit out of tight and thick lies.
Pros:
low profile design with large sweet spot
Forgiving on off-centered hitsI would recommend this item to a friend.
