I bought the J40 3+ wood about a month ago here at Rockbottom and absolutely killed it. The performance of that club made me try the 430 size driver. Im a scratch hdcp and like the smaller headsize. So I got the same px 6.0 with the driver but it did not play anything like the 3+ wood. Im not sure if the 3+ was tipped or something but it played stiffer than the driver...by alot. So I bought a proforce vts 7x black shaft and swapped it into the driver and now its a ridiculous club. I was hitting a Titleist 913 D3 with a px tour spec 6.0 shaft between 270 and 285 and the J40 is about 15 yards longer and, more importantly, straighter with less spin. So, if you fit the right shaft this is a great stick.
Pros:The clubhead really does produce less side and backspin.
Cons:The shaft may not be right for everyone. But ypu can swap it out and still have a club that cost less than a stock produced club.
