The CaddyTrek is a robotic golf caddy that follows you, leaving you hands free to enjoy golf without the burden of carrying a bag. Less fatigue means better levels of concentration and physical control when driving to the tee or playing the short game. For players who hesitate in walking their round because of the weight of their bag, the CaddyTrek provides the solution. Now you can just focus on your game!

Features:
  • Tracking technology that follows you
Go hands free as the caddy tracks in front or behind the player. Using a combination of Ultrasound and RF signal technology, the CaddyTrek calculates speed, distance and angle to the golfer. Simply walk your game as the caddy tracks your movement and follows, maintaining pace with your walking speed.

The CaddyTrek provides two different tracking modes—Follow and Marching. The only difference is the orientation of the player to the caddy. Stand in front of the caddy and clip the handset to your back waistband and engage Follow Mode OR clip the handset to the front of your waistband and stand behind it to use Marching Mode.

  • Use it as a remote control caddy
For additional speed and maneuverability, switch the CaddyTrek into Remote Mode and send it ahead to the next tee box.

Use Remote Mode to steer the cart around the green, navigate around bunkers, or climb hills. The CaddyTrek's speed, control, and stopping power are now in your hands.

Found in other higher-end electronic carts, the CaddyTrek uses an onboard gyroscope to insure straight-line tracking over uneven terrain. The gyroscope permits the caddy to make adjustments to return to its original line after encountering bumps, divots, and uneven turf across the fairway.

  • Made for easy storage and transport
Total weight for the caddy comes in at 39 pounds. Quickly remove the battery for even more weight savings. Fold the CaddyTrek down in a matter of seconds for easy transport in the trunk of your car or for storage at home. It folds smaller than most push carts available today.

  • Lithium powered for 27 holes
A rechargeable 24V Lithium ion battery allows golfers playtime of up to 27 holes on a single charge. The battery charger plugs into a normal 110V household outlet for quick recharging, taking about 6 hours to completely recharge. Remove the battery for charging in your home or keep it in the unit to charge at the cart barn of your local course.

The battery lifecycle is rated at 500 cycles meaning players can enjoy years of use of their CaddyTrek before needing a replacement battery.

  • Included standard equipment
The CaddyTrek comes with everything the golfer needs to start playing right out of the box. Included with the CaddyTrek are the following:

Great Once You Learn How to Use It
    June 27, 2014
The only limitations are that it sometimes get a little confused when going from one surface to another (grass to path) and spins out and stops. This is rare. Otherwise, a fantastic product. Just take the time to learn how to walk with it, being conscious of not making sudden 90 degree turns and such.
    Pros:
Great all around, Excellent battery, easy to use, follows you just about everywhere. Very compact when folded up to put in your car. You'll get a ton of questions and comments when other golfers see you using it.
    Cons:
Just a little sensitive to changes in surfaces and strange side hill or really steep slopes.

    Wow

This thing works extremely well. I read review after review and they were bad. I don't understand that. All you need to do to have a great experience with this is have common sense. If you walk over pot holes or any other uneven surfaces it will try to go over them walk somewhere you know it won't have issues.
    Pros:
I love the follow mode works great.
    Cons:
It could use a wider stance. It would help on uneven surfaces.

    Makes walking worth it!
    July 12, 2013
I wanted to start walking when I play to get the exercise but also to help focus on my game. I was not interested in carrying the bag or push/pulling clubs around. I researched the CaddyTrek a great deal and decided to give it a try. I have been very impressed with it's ability to follow me most anywhere on the course. The cart has the ability to go much faster than I walk and with the exception of dense woods, I have not found anywhere it wouldn't follow. I have even jogged in front of it to see if it could keep up and it did. To follow the golfer you clip a very small remote on your belt at the small of your back. The largest button on the remote is used to stop the cart when you are ready to hit and to restart when you are ready to move on. You don't need to hold the remote in your hand unless you want to remotely guide the cart. You must stay pretty much in front of the cart for it work properly. You can change direction easily and it works great but you can't suddenly move 90 degrees from your current path and have the cart still see you. That doesn't really happen during a round but I want people to understand the limitations of the technology. If you walk normally it does fine. As far as the range of the carts remote, I tested it and it went just short of 100 yards away before it lost sight of the remote and it stops automatically so it does not run away from you. I really love the freedom the cart gives me to enter my scores and other stats into my cell phone as I am walking to the next shot. As far as how long the battery will last in a stretch, I have not tested that. I have played 27 with it and it was still showing half charged on the batteries indicator lights. The battery is 12" x 6" x 2.75" thick and is very light. It has a button that you push to show you current battery strength. I have been caught in the rain a couple of times and the cart didn't seem to mind. The company that makes these doesn't really sell many accessories so you will have to go to 3rd parties for drink holders and such. It is summer at this point and I rigged up a cooler bag and mounted onto the cart. I was able to carry to two medium Gatorade bottles and 3 water bottles with ice. The cart did fine with the extra weight. I doubt the company would recommend this but where I play they don't have water stations. The only thing you can't do is block the two sensors that need to have an unobstructed view of the remote but it is not a problem because of the design. I had a problem with the remote once and the company sent me a replacement immediately and asked me to return the damaged one using their box and a prepaid UPS label. I have had a few questions along the way and the tech guys are very good at explaining the product and its features. I am a very skeptical shopper and it took me a while to convince myself that this would work. If you watch the videos on their website you will get an idea of what will do. So well into my second year, the cart is performing as advertised. I am very glad I bought the CaddyTrek. I look forward to walking now even on very warm days.
    Pros:
Freedom to walk without push/pulling a cart and bag. Everyone that sees it loves it. It folds up into a small package so trunk space is not a problem. Has two modes basically: Follow me mode and remote control guidance mode. Small light powerful battery. Really smart design and very adjustable for different bag sizes.
    Cons:
Lack of accessories matched to the cart's design. Try to avoid side hill walking or at least walk a bit slower on side hill steep grades. This is only very steep grades where you normally wouldn't walk anyway.
