This is still a great driver even if it is not the latest model. Has a nice feel, if you feel like upgrading later FT9 heads are not expensive which is a huge benefit of imix

Great driver, great price

I have three Ft-5 imix heads, with difference lofts and bias one is tour version. Great sound. Great you can change shafts, but not adjustable like nikent, cobra, taylormade, Nike etc. Extra shafts are fairly easy to get hold of from rock bottom Orono ebay. Calloway won't sell the sleeves like the other manufacturer apart from nickent, though went out of business but are now back. Maybe it better just to change one variable at a time, I.e. The shaft ratherthattinkerwith lofts and lies as well. Bettertospend the money on yourswing or a good shaft after being fitted by a club maker oro. I- mix does give you chance to try different shafts.
Pros:
Changeability of shaft options, sound at impact. Workability.
Cons:
Fact Calloway won't sell imix sleeves,get ripped off having to buy overpriced shafts.

Overall Great Driver

This driver has a great feel and the sound off the tee is nice...not too tingy or hallow. I have the neutral 10 degree with a stiff shaft. My drives tend to go (when I hit them straight) between 230-250 yards. My swing speed is between 95-105 mph.
Pros:

Built to last
Launches the ball high (+ for slower swing speeds)
Cons:
Launches too high for me. I have to tee the ball up pretty low to get a penetrating trajectory.

My first taste of composite. Really liked the sound and feel of composite. Doesn't have that loud ting a much more muted sound.

Easy to swing with the 45" shaft, and distance is excellent. The "pop" sound of the ball coming off the clubface totally different from titanium drivers, but the feel is outstanding.
