Callaway Diablo Edge 3-wood

I'm excited to get this club. It complements the set of Diablo Edge irons, driver, and 3-hybrid I just purchased. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten the chance to hit this club yet, but have been swinging it in the yard. The large head inspires confidence, and should provide more mass behind the ball than the clubs I used to hit with, which was a set I made back in 1993.
Pros:
1. Represents great golf technology
2. Large head provides more mass behind the ball.
3. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
4. Large head also seems to inspire more confidence than smaller wood heads.
Cons:
A little disappointed in the grip. Feels too slick. Haven't hit it yet, so I don't know how it feels under course conditions.

I love to tee off with a 3 wood for more accurate shots. This one is fantastic. I can drive as far with this 3 wood as my driver...and it goes down the middle! Tee it a bit lower than your driver and watch it rocket down the middle.

This is just as good!

I bought the Diablo driver, so thought I'd try the Diablo 3 Wood also and I love it. The club is so light and easy to swing. Very forgiving as well! Hitting it straighter and farther than my old 3 wood. The price is great (couldn't beat it anywhere) and always quick delivery. These are also good looking clubs. They won't fix a bad swing but your equipment will look good!!

More Yardage

After 14 years using my Taylor Made Burner 3 & 5 woods, I figured it was finally time to move on. Reading reviews and talking with my buds made my choice pretty simple. I was looking to get more yardage from the clubs, and I wasn't disappointed. The 3 wood flew 15 yards farther with the first swing. Whoa!!! I miss hit the 5 wood the first time, but it still traveled 180 yards (very forgiving). My next shot was 210 yards to a tight green which landed soft, 12 feet from the pin. These two clubs are definite keepers.
Pros:
The look, feel and price are definite pros. The large sweet certainly helps.
Cons:
Ask me in 14 years.
