Great irons!
By Dan from Purcell, OK on June 11, 2013

I have used lots of different irons in the last 45 years, but these are my favorites so far. Great feel AND forgiveness when I don't have a perfect swing/contact (often unfortunately). This set is a great value!
Pros:
Distance, control, appearance, turf interactionCons:
noneI would recommend this item to a friend.
Power meets percision.Longer and more accurate. Consistant distance control.
By Glenn York from Zebulon, NC on June 10, 2013

Increased distance. I'm hitting the ball at least 20 yards farther than my old clubs. Has a great feel and balance. My ball stricking is more consistant.
Pros:
Love the look and the feel.Cons:
Getting use to the new distance. This is scary.I would recommend this item to a friend.
Calloway Razr X Tour Irons
By Kbanf from Essex Jct. Vermont on June 9, 2013

Previously played with X22 Tour irons with S300 shaft.
Very pleased with these irons with R300's

The tour model offers less offset and a thinner top line that's easier to hit than the forged/muscle backed models.
By Mike from Atlanta, GA on June 9, 2013

Less offset equates to less directional variance from shot to shot. Investment cast perimeter weighted heads make them easy to hit. The feel of a heavier head provides more feed back when shaping shots. These irons are an excellent choice if you want more playability without sacrificing forgiveness. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.
Pros:
Consistency
Playability
Easy to hitI would recommend this item to a friend.
Solid irons
By Barry from White Lake, MI on June 6, 2013

I've had these for a few weeks now and played half a dozen times. Generally, I can keep it under 80 playing it down and from the middle-back tees which is tough to stomach sometimes considering I used to be a fairly decent player (now in my 50's). Having said that I grew up playing Wilson Staff blades and when that company quit producing quality products a couple of decades ago (obviously their stuff is once again good) I switched to Mizuno's but it just got to the point where those classic forged sticks were too much to handle. So, my first attempt at cast/cavity was a used set of Titleist DCI 762's that I picked up last year for around $100. These were 10 years old but definitely excellent clubs for someone who needed some help.
Anyway the 762'she were a great transition for me but the heads were just too big and I knew I needed to ease into something else. I didn't really demo much because I didn't want to spend a fortune on a set of irons. So that brings me to these RAZR X Tour cast irons from RBG for under $300. What a deal vis-a-vis everything else out there. The heads are small and they really aren't that forgiving but boy are they one solid set of irons. I mean if you need help getting consistent distances with short and mid irons then get something much more helpful than these will be; but, if you don't these are absolutely pure(ina)
Frankly, the biggest surprise so far was their unbelievable effectiveness out of the rough (Kentucky bluegrass where I mostly play). They don't produce unpredictable jumpers nor do they require you to come in with a steep angle to get good distance. Unbelievable asset really. From good lies you can beat down on them with confidence and impart high cuts, low trap draws, or just flush high straight as a string solid shots. There are just no worries the club will bounce like a wide sole game improvement club or dig like a knife-like players blade. Again, an unbelievable asset really.
Even though these clubs are 2011's they are absolutely relevant today and quite solid. I think I the long irons would be difficult to hit and I'm glad I bought the abbreviated set - 5-PW. Without reservation I highly recommend these and for me to say that is huge. Having played over 40 years all I've ever known from high school to now are Power Bilt Citation Blades, Wilson Staff Blades, Mizuno MP33, Titleist 762, and now these. I like them a lot. They're terrific.
Pros:
Extremely solid
Easy to maneuver
Price is excellentCons:
Grips are round and not ribbed (no big deal really)I would recommend this item to a friend.
Everything Calloway says they are!
By Bret from Homer Glen, IL on May 18, 2013

My clubs arrived, grabbed the box and headed to the range (literally)! Wasn't sure how I would hit them since I had been playing a Nike game improvement club for the past 5 seasons. These were the last upgrade to the bag. Hit a 100 or so balls from the 9 up to 5 iron at the range, aside from a very few miss hits everything was straight and 10yds longer than my old irons. I was excited to actually play them, 1st 9 holes played I shaved 4 strokes from my game and hit every iron dead money! (Wish I had putted as good!) 2nd 9 same experience! Maybe i just had a good day but my confidence and control has greatly improved! These are awesome irons. Rock Bottom delivered another great deal !!
Pros:
Everything!
Exactly as described in RBG's description Cons:
The fact that I didn't expedite my order and get them sooner! I would recommend this item to a friend.
High quality product
By Al from Wisconsin Rapids, WI on April 30, 2013

After shooting par with my old R-7's last year I decided to upgrade. These clubs are a little heavier than my old ones and aid in keeping my swing on plane. The look of these clubs is sharp and professional. They help me take a proper divot and provide better accuracy.
Pros:
The look, the grips, and the accuracy.Cons:
Nothing.I would recommend this item to a friend.
Great clubs

Great new clubs.

I am a 9 handicap and have been hitting Callaway X-22 game-improvement clubs for the past 3 years. I like everything about the X-22s, but they are getting a bit worn and the grooves need help too.
I decide to try the Callaway RAZR tour clubs because I am a better player than when I got the X-22s, and I thought I could get comfortable with the thinner profile you see when you look down. I was hoping for the same compression, and the improved accuracy (26%) the factory says you get over the X-22s.
Everything was as advertised. I found the ball compressed well and the clubs are pretty forgiving. Also, the ball went a bit farther, but definitely went straighter. Sigh of relief.... Pound for pound, very nice clubs.
Pros:
Appearance, ball compression, forgiveness, slightly increased length, improved accuracy.
Excellent value....Cons:
Prefer the thicker profile of game-improvement clubs when looking down, but not a real problem once you get comfortable... comes quickly after you hit them. I would recommend this item to a friend.
