Visible Face Alignment - Allows you to clearly see if the face of the putter is square to the target line, without the shaft impeding your line of site. This provides an unprecedented visual aid in lining up putts to the target line for precision and accuracy.
Forward Press Stabilization - Hands-forward position, without de-lofting, promotes an upward stroke into the ball. The shaft position also helps create a stable, straight line with your leading arm, so your wrists are less likely to break down during the stroke. This type of ascending stroke imparts topspin faster, generating true roll. The position of your hands also encourages a longer and lower follow-through for better consistency.
Stroke Balance - Creates a putter balanced on the axis of the putting stroke, which promotes a fluid, stable stroke path that is more consistent and accurate, and also leads to better distance control.
White Ice Insert - This multi-layer insert has been fine-tuned to enhance sound, responsiveness, resiliency and consistency. The inner core is 19.6% firmer to enhance the feel and 92% stiffer for better resiliency. The face surface has been roughened to enhance the sound at impact with softer golf balls; this rough texture also helps increase friction between the ball and the insert to promote forward roll.

Best Putter I've Yet To Own

I bought this putter in April of 2012, and prior to that I had a few Odyssey and Ping putters with a variety of different styles. I had blades, I had mallets, I had the two-ball, I had the three-ball. This putter blows all of them out of the water. I knew from the start that the "backstryke" idea was brilliance, being an engineer. The concept is flawless. It causes you to strike the ball when your wrists are in prime position, slightly upward on the ball. Also, the weighting is perfect for slight mishits. The purest roll I have ever putted with comes from this putter. I was about a 7 or 8 handicap prior to putting with this bad boy, and I shot my first round in the 60s in 4 years with this guy, saving me from 15 feet in for up and downs. I've never looked at a 30-footer and said, "Yeah, this has a pretty good chance," until I bought the Backstryke Blade. Only complaint I have is that the grip is a bit thin, I put my Jumbo Tiger Shark on it and I love it.
So do it, it won't let you down. For the price, it is one of the best.

Exudes Confidence!

I was skeptical at first about center-shafted putters in general, because I have always used more conventional designs, and even more so about the putter head being so far ahead of the shaft. But once I started practicing with this putter I could see what all the "hooplah" was about! This putter design exudes confidence. Alignment of putts is easier and the setup keeps all the weight in front of your hands. My biggest problem has always been opening the face of the club when it gets to the ball. This putter takes that problem out of the mix.

I have had this putter for about 2 years and love it. It alone has dropped my handicap by 8 strokes. If you miss with this putter, you know you did it, not the putter.
Pros:
Everything. Nice soft feel, easy to see the line, and easy to keep the face square.

Nothing.

This putter feels great in your hands. The center shaft gives an excellent down the line feel. You can see a little of the white on the face when you set up which is terrific to see whether you are on your line or not. Unfortunately this putter is no longer in production. Buy one while you can.

Everything about this putter is terrific. I have struggled for about a year with the flat stick and this has made a big difference.
Very easy to see the line you are aiming on.
Good weight, very nice balance.
Cons:
The 'Back Stryke' is no longer in production.

This putter sets up much different than the one I've been using for over twenty years. Your hands are back quite a bit so it felt a little strange but when I stroked my first putt and saw how easy it was to keep on line I was hooked. The face makes the ball go a little slower for me than my other putter so it made me become a little more agressive but I like it.

The putter takes a bit to get used to, the balance is different for me. I tend to drag putter on ground just before contact with the ball. Still excited about figuring the club out.

Best putter I ever had. Tommy "two gloves" Gainey and I have something in common. Too bad the rest of my game is'nt as good, but no complaints. Great buy for people who love a putter that has so many built in devices to line up a straight putt.

Great putter. purchased it for a friend, but I have putted with it. Easy alignment, solid feel, soft like buttter when you hit it. Althou I personally use the Backstryke 2-ball, this is a great putter

A few people comment and say geez I can't hit that funny looking thing, you get them to take 3 putts and when all 3 roll beautifully they start asking a few more questions and drop the attitude pretty quick. It does promote a quick forward roll and performs beautifully, and now there are a few heads to choose from you should be able to find one you like
