Odyssey Golf- LH Backstryke Marxman Putter (Left-Handed)

The first day I played with this putter I had 5 one putt greens in Rowe!

I purchased this putter on the reviews written by others and thinking through the design concept of all the advantages you get with a putter that helps with hand press, alignment and ball strike. I am happy I made the purchase and didnt shy away from it b/c its not your traditional putter! It has a great feel in your hands and strikes the ball very true and pure. You will not regret switching to this putter.

Putter face was easy to align compared to a convincinal putter. Takes a little practice how far to bring putter head back and through, once you get the hang of it watch out!!!

It flows really well giving you plenty of accuracy and precision!!

I HAVE PLAY TWO ROUND WITH BACKSTRYKE PUTTER I HAVE MADE SOME LONG PUTT IT LINE UP EASY LOT BETTER THAN MY YES PUTTER

The feel I get when this putter blade strikes the ball is amazing! The shape or design of the putter may throw some people off, but I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. My putts are as firm, straight and true as they have ever been...and I feel as if I could make any putt under 8 feet (with my previous Odyssey 2-ball, that wasn't always the case). The line down the center of the putter head really makes lining up a putt almost impossible to get wrong. Granted, I have only used this putter once, but I expect similar outstanding results for as long as I own it.

I have used this putter the last two rounds that i have played. I like the more consistant roll, and it is a lot easier to aim at the cup.

this putter has a very soft face, so it took a second round to get used to it. It's so easy to line up to the line you want to start the putt on, i just set in place and stroke it. The backstryke seems to stay on line straight through.

Easy to align, face insert releases putter softly with overspin on the ball.

Had an Odyssey 2-ball I've been playing with for several years. Bought this a week ago and what an improvement! The ball jumps off of the face of this club. And missing the short putts is a thing of the past. What an improvement! First time out and I' made some putts I wouldn't have made with th older Odyssey. Always pays to get the latest technology (even thought this club is 2 years old .. :-)

one day while killing time in a golf shop, I was tinkering around with some putters on the discount rack and found a backstryke marxman in my hands. although at that point I really wasn't in the market for a new putter, it's performance really stuck with me. Over the next few months the regret that I didn't buy it set in. So much, in fact, that when I saw that RBG got a few in I jumped at the deal.

The face is typical of an odyssey and the ball comes off of it softly yet it feels very alive. something about the backstryke design makes it feel more powerful to the point that I've needed to tone down my stroke on shorter puts. I like this because I rarely hit it close to the hole even when I finally get it on the green, so when I'm pounding out a 30-40ft put I feel like i have plenty of leverage to get it to the hole without having to over swing. by toning down my stroke on the shorter puts, I keep my stroke much smoother.

My other two putters that I've been using are a Yes! Olivia and a Yes! Diana. Both of them have been good putters, and I like the advantage of interchangeable weights to balance out my swing. The backstryke is just as balanced if not more so without any need for weighting changes. all in all an excellent, well balanced putter with a soft, responsive face.
