The Odyssey White Hot XG Sabertooth putter provides a high Moment of Inertia, which reduces twisting during the stroke for more accurate putts. Its Dual Fangs position more weight to the perimeter to keep the stroke online. The XG Series features a multi-layer insert, inspired by today's multi-layered golf balls. The elastomer core is very soft and resilient, while the thin outer layer is firmer for greater responsiveness.

Great putter for the short to mid putts

I got this from Rockbottom at a such a great price I had to give it a try. I put up my Bettinardi Hawk and have played several rounds with the Sabertooth. The putter has a really smooth feel from 25ft in it aligns well and comes off the putter face smooth. Outside of 25ft I am still a little mixed about it. My old Bettinardi was much heavier and was able to go through that distance very well. This putter is much light and it seems on big distance the ball seems to hop off the club head as opposed to a smooth roll. Since most of my putts are within 25ft I believe I will continue to use it
Pros:
the white insert gives a great feel on the greens. the look is sharp and the grip is great.
Cons:
too light for long putts. magnet on head cover could be a little stronger

The most comfortable putter I have used in 54 years of playing golf. The weight is just right for my stroke and it seems to move effortlessly in a straight line. In the short time I have used it the number of three putt greens has decreased remarkably.

Good putter overall

Overall this is a good putter. The only thing I would say is it takes time to get used to, especially if your previous putter was a different design. The putter is heavy and takes some time to get used to. I've used mine a few times now, and the feel and grip are outstanding, but like I said it just takes some time to get used to.

Excelent purchase! I was in need of a new putter and I found the "secret weapon" that I needed. This Odyssey putter had help me a lot, since the last one that I had wasn't good...I'm a high handicapper and I know this will help me to lower my score and stop the 3 putt routine! And the PRICE is nice!!!!
