Internal software problem

Loads courses quickly but yardage is off. Unit doesn't hold it's settings such as time/date, unit default is yards vs meters, however this one defaults to meters and has to be reset after each power up. Called Celestron and they said they were aware of the problems and were working on it and they'd get back to me as soon as it was resolved. That was two weeks ago. Still no answer.
