This is a well-balanced, high-loft wedge that this every-day golfer felt he was ready for. I'd decided that the Adams 60-degree lob wedge that had come with a beginners' set I bought some 10 years ago, which I feared to use off of grass (it became my bunker club of choice--great bounce), was too difficult for me. This lovely Cleveland 58-degree wedge is of a different order. It gives me confidence to hit everything from 50-yard approaches to slightly down-slope flop shots (sometimes successful!) Good feel, good looks when one sets up in those tense moments before the backswing. If I have a problem with it after 2 weeks, it is that it hits farther than I imagine on "touch" shots. I'll learn . . . .
