Priced So Low, Cleveland Says We Can't Show It!

The Cleveland CG15 DSG Oil Quench Tour Zip Wedge has an address shape and Laser-Milled Face Technology that are shared with the CG15, but the CG15 DSG incorporates a Dynamic Sole Grind on the back portion of the sole. The material reduction on the back of the sole allows players to open up the face with a lower leading edge to allow for better contact on open faced shots. These wedges conform to 2010 USGA Rules of golf.

As always, Rock Bottom pricing & shipping of the item was top notch.

Pros:

The club has a nice look, the ball feels good coming off the club, and it was an easy transition from a club that I have loved for the last 15 years that is just flat worn out. The yardage I hit it is virtually where I was with my prior 56 degree club.

Cons:

The finish does wear off quickly on the sole & a bit on the face - it's just cosmetic

Before this club, I was using a cavity back SW, the bounce and profile of this club makes hitting shots from a tight lie a lot easier.

This is a great club, which I think it is going to significately improve my short game. The courses I play have hard fast greens and this club gives me the control I need on the approching the greens. It is now my go to club around the greens.

I have hit many lob wedges, but none as easy as this one! I now have confidence to pull it out of the bag and know it will get me close to the hole. The zip grooves result in awesome performance.

But too still much snow to try. But I have an iron set TA-1 by Cleveland. It is better than good.

Backyard test A+++

I haven't had it out on the course yet, but did hit quite a few balls in the backyard with it. I believe it is exactly what my short game needed. My local course has a lot of kakuya grass, so you need to carry the ball to the green. This club was very easy to control for 6 to 12 yard carries that will check, which is what I need it for most.

I wasn't sure about the laser milled grooves, but I was wrong. These wedges provide incredible spin while maintaining durability. They have consistent feel and trajectory and I love the oil can finish. Great great purchase absolute steals.

Lots of spin and control with this wedge. A great sand wedge, and a great in between wedge when the pitcher is too strong and the lob is to short. Face does seem to wear a little quicker than one my expect, but the manufacturer states that this is normal. Highly recommended.
