Long Tom is LONG

I don't often review clubs, but this one is special. It's very long and easy to hit off the fairway as well as off the tee. I purchased the club more with the intention of using it off the tee, but have had great fun using it off the fairway as well. People you play with will be surprised at the distance you get off the fairway with this club. I expected I might have to cut a couple of inches off the shaft length to make it controllable, but it's fine. I like the black colouring, and the slightly retro look to the center of the face. I'm very tempted to buy the driver version, but haven't yet managed to get my head around a 48" shafted driver, still I thought a 45" fairway wood would be an issue, and it hasn't been in this case.

i was just down in Laughlin, Nevada , and used it for the first time. it is an awesome club. the long shaft takes a little getting used to but it's worth it.

Long is Right

Finally got to use this and it really is long. Because of the winter weather hadn't swung a club in about 6 weeks, so I wasn't even hitting this that well and I roped a few. I can only imagine the distance on this with above average swings. I was within spitting distance of some of my foursome's drives. I only used it off the tee so I can't speak to hitting it off the turf but there is nothing about the appearance or feel of the club that leads me to believe it won't be easy to do. The all-black looks great and it's a very light club. I couldn't find many reviews of the club so I thought it was a bit of a gamble to order but turns out to be one of the best decisions I've made
