  • 1. ALIGNMENT
Place the towel between your feet and the ball (see picture off diagram). Make sure the right edge of the towel is aligned with the target.
  • 2. BALL POSITION
Depending upon the particular club you are using (Driver, Fairway wood, Hybrid, or Iron) place a ball opposite the corresponding ball on the towel
  • 3. STANCE WIDTH
You can determine the stance width using the yardstick feature on the teaching towel. Stance width is a function of your body type and the length of the club you are using.
  • 4. BALL FLIGHT
Notice in the top right hand corner that there are three basic starting directions for the flight of your ball. Which one is yours? Straight is ideal, push is next best, and the pull is not a good starting direction.
  • 5. SWING PATH
Notice the swing paths in the middle of the towel. To get the feel of the correct path to the hitting area, hold a club above one of the paths and practice moving the club on the same arc as your club approaches impact.
  • 6. CLUB FACE
The angle of the club face determines the side spin of the ball. A closed face will make the ball curve left. A square face produces no curve, and an open face creates a curve to the right.
  • 7. ANGLE OF ATTACK
This is a great application of the teaching towel. Place a ball three or four inches in front of the towel and practice making contact with the ball without hitting the towel.
  • 8. BALL POSITION –PUTTING
Notice the ball on the putting arc. Place your golf ball on the towel. Note that the ball is 2 inches forward of the zero (0) on the towel. Your toes of each foot should be equal on both sides of the Zero (0).
  • 9. PUTTING PATH
Practice the correct path of the putter using the dotted line. Notice that the putter travels on an arc. Path should feel inside to square to inside relative to the target line.

    Just get one
    May 8, 2015
Bought 2 of these from the clearance cave - the price was too good to pass up. Im using this more as a calibration tool for ball position and some little reminders, but it worked surpisingly well. Ive been off my game lately, and one bucket on the range with this towel re-synced my swing and brought my game back to where I'm used to it being.
    Pros:
Price is unbeatable, and is a great tool for swing reminders and building myscle memory.
    Cons:
Material seems a little week, but it will hold up if cared for.

A GREAT GOLF GIFT FOR ANY GOLFER
    April 16, 2015
I found these at ROCK BOTTOM GOLF, on sale. I give them to golf students of all skill levels when they begin a training program. I buy them several at a time and have no trouble finding folks to share them with. No real golfer would use the towel to wipe-off clubs or as a bath towel -RIGHT!
    Pros:
great idea for gift, a real training aid, can be used indoors or out doors.
    Cons:
    none

This is a great towel to have on your bag. I use it when I'm at the range and need to re-calibrate my ball position for different clubs.

    Good information on towel
    April 2, 2015
Works well for the purpose of cleaning of clubs. The information on the towel may help some "new" to the game of golf.
    Pros:
you have "new" player or a buddy just getting back in the game, would recommend this serves two purposes. Helps give some information to new players and works just as well as a towel!!!
    Cons:
maybe a tad but softer would be nce

Works just as described. A word of caution....I had this on my bag during a match and an opponent tried to claim it was illegal.
    Pros:
Very helpful when you get a little "out of whack" with your swing path.

    Reasonable price for a towel.
    Pros:
Good quality towel in a color that matches my golf bag.
    Cons:
Not too sure the teaching graphics will help much but certainly can't hurt. They're pretty basic.
