High launch and low spin to generate maximum distance in a hybrid...

Founded in 1991 by Gary Adams, Founders Club produces high performance metal drivers and fairway woods. The hallmark of Founders Club designs were precision face progression, perfect bulge and roll, and a blind bore hosel that together produce low spin rates, optimum launch angle and a penetrating ball flight for maximum distance. In 1996 Gary Adams sold his interest in the company to a Japanese sporting goods company, shortly thereafter departing from the company. A change in distribution strategy coupled with the emergence of Callaway as a market leader led to the closing of Founders Club in the late 1990's. In 2002 Paradise Golf Equipment and its management team bought Founders Club from Asics Corporation and re-launched Founders Club in 2003. The new Founders Club is holding true to the original pear shaped heads designed by Gary Adams, along with adhering to his concepts of producing clubs with low spin rates and optimum launch angles.

Features:

The Power Cleek Hybrids feature an extreme follow under cut cavity and wider sole for higher initial launch trajectory and forgiveness on off center hits.

Weight positioned low and away from the face produce a higher initial launch trajectory and increased spin for maximum shot-stopping control.

A chambered sole and progressive offset ensure consistent, solid, square contact through the impact area.

Looks Great

Although I haven't used the club yet, it has a great feel and it has similarities to the Nike Vr pro hybrids in weight looks and the way it is made. founders club brand made a name for itself 15 - 20 years ago as many Senior PGA players used the brand. I look forward to hitting with it in the near future and comparing it to other hybrids.

Seems to be high quality and the price I paid was outrageously low.

Nice grip, good shaft flex and solid feel when you make contact with the little white ball. Gives me about 10 more yards compared to comparable iron. Great club for the money.

decent club for the price. Only drawback is the grip is a wrap and the adhesive seems to ooze out from between and causes your hands/glove to be super sticky.

Not Safe for Par 3's!!

Very solid hybrid for the price. You cannot go wrong. I wouldn't recommend using it on anything less than 175yds because this thing will skyrocket the ball. I over hit one ball about 50yds passed the green on a mid size par 3. This club hits solid, smooth and straight. I love the grip as well. The ball seems to float in the air for a very long time giving it great distance.

Maybe more material and more velcro on the closure of the head cover, but that's by no means a 'problem'

Trying to work on the long to mid distance of my game....purchased the 2h, 3h, and the 4 h. Didn't want to spend $100 each for hybrids and these did not disapoint me at all. High soft landing shots from 150-180 yds. Shafts seem firm enough for my 61 year old swing. I'd buy again.

Grips are almost no taper...not a problem ...just different

Not a great hybrid. Very Cheap.

Good club head cover.

Odd Design.
Hard to make solid contact with.
Usually slices upon good contact.

Actually feel like it replaced my 5 iron. More forgiving and higher trajectory than my 5 or 6 irons.

Pros:

Great club coming out of the first cut.
Very solid and forgiving.

Cons:

Velcro on head cover does not stay on club well.

I had never heard of Founders Club golf clubs nor used a 2 iron before.
I bought both 2 and 3 hybrids with senior shafts and am very pleaded with the way they perform.

Pros:

Easy and comfortable to use.
Good for shots from the rough
