Fairly accurate but you have to pay attention to what hole you're on. Sounds dumb, but if the course is tight or tree-filled, the GPS may wander and change the hole number on you. Aside from that it's a pretty accurate device, and helpful if you're not near a yardage marker.
Pros:Accuracy, again given you're on the correct hole, is good. I like the back, middle, front yardages. Also the 150 layup feature is nice...sometimes it'll display it in terms of a dogleg - even better.
Like the scorekeeping feature, doesn't really get in the way during an outing. Usually the score screen will be displayed as you're walking off the green, making for easy entry. Scores are saved for you to pull up on your computer later.
Stylin' with the white band/face.
Cons:Battery drains quickly. Make sure you charge fully between rounds.
Minor GPS issues noted above.
Also kind of expensive for basically telling you a handful of things, but cheaper and quicker to use than a laser rangefinder you'd need to pull out of your bag every time.
