It was rather difficult to find reviews online for this product, but when RockBottom had it on an "our cost" sale for under 22 bucks, I couldn't pass it up! This stuff at GNC's website is $50.
I got the strawberry flavor. I was honestly a little worried when I saw the jug itself claimed it was "the best" tasting protein powder. That's just asking to disappoint! But wow! This stuff really does taste good. I've had other brands of whey protein and a few tasted metallic, others didn't taste like the flavor they claimed. GAT Prolein isn't metallic at all! And it even has dehydrated strawberry pieces in it! I mix 1 scoop with 8 oz 1% milk, (it mixes very well, no clumpiness), and I would be hard pressed to note much of a difference between this stuff and an actual milk shake.
I've only been taking this particular stuff for about a week, so I can't speak much for overall lean muscle gain yet, but my muscles do feel like they recover noticeably quicker after a lifting session. So I'm looking forward to it!
I would be hard pressed to find a downside to this product, other than it instructs to consume 3 servings a day, (one on an empty stomach when you wake up, one after your lifting session, one before bed), which seems a bit much. I take 2 on my lifting days, 1 on my cardio, and that seems sufficient for my goals anyway.
Either way, I'd definitely recommend this!
Cons:Might have to pay full price next time!
3 servings a day seems a bit overkill personally
