I just started using this Unit while visiting Phoenix the week of March 11, 2013. Notwithstanding the book of instructions, which in hind sight made sense, I had some difficulty getting the unit going. Apparently I was holding the go button too long. Once I got the hang of it, it worked overall like a charm. I used it on 7 different courses. It appeared accurate against other course markings to within 1 yard.
Occasionally the unit would lose the hole or the next hole, I am uncertain if in its use I accidentally pushed a wrong button.
This is the first GPS I have owned. I think it is good value. Other golfers that observed it seemed to like it and appreciated my advice as to the distance.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
