The Grain Flow Forged® JPX-825 Pro™ pushes the design limits to achieve greater forgiveness and feel in this “player’s” game improvement iron. The 4-7 irons offer a deep CNC milled pocket cavity that provides 17 grams of discretionary weight that is used for extreme toe-heel weighting providing plenty of forgiveness where you need it. The 8-PW features a full cavity design with greater thickness behind the impact for a more penetrating and workable ball flight for pinpoint accuracy in the scoring irons.

Utilizing Harmonic Impact Technology (HIT), Mizuno engineers designed an incredibly strong cavity frame that allows a thinner, more reactive face for increased initial ball speed while maintaining an unbelievably solid feel at impact. A tour confirmed triple cut sole design provides the appropriate relief on the leading and trailing edges for ideal turn interaction and solid ball striking from anywhere on the course.

Features:

  • Grain Flow Forged® 1025E “Pure Select” mild carbon steel provides a superior soft, solid, and consistent feel.
  • Enhanced COR (Coefficient of Restitution) face design for increased distance.
  • 4-7 iron deep CNC milled pocket cavity for ease of launch and greater forgiveness.
  • 8-PW solid full cavity design for precision and control.
  • Toe/Heel weighted cavity design increases Sweet Area
  • Impact sound optimized through Modal Analysis software and Mizuno’s Harmonic Impact Technology (HIT).
  • Tour confirmed triple cut sole design.
  • Double Nickel Chrome plated for elegant and durable finish.

    Great irons, exactly as described
    June 18, 2013
I have played one round so far with these new irons and have a great feel to them. Forgiving and long, as described. Well built and good looking too.

    Fantastic!

I am not your best player but I have never hit the ball straighter. Even miss hits sound clean and fly true. Great feel. Almost got another set of Taylormades but so glad I did not. I am getting slightly better distance but not a landslide difference. But overall I give them 5 stars and plan on using them for years to come. Thanks Rockbottom!
    Pros:
    Feel. Appearance. Playability
    Cons:
No 3 iron. Had to order a utility for I dislike hybrids

    Terrific Irons
    March 12, 2013
I have upgraded from old Mizuno MX 20 irons to these. They are terrific!! Great looking clubs, nice feel and certainly a few metres further than my old irons. Another great set of irons from Mizuno.
    Pros:
Great looking, grips are great nice feel
    Cons:
    Nothing.

The right clubs for my game at an unbeatable price
    December 17, 2012
These irons are softer than any other iron I tried, including the AP2. They have forgiveness and are deceptively longer than my previous irons. They look and feel great, and being happy with what you're gaming is half the battle, right?
    Pros:
    Price, feel, distance, look.
    Cons:
This set comes without the gap wedge for the set.
