Classic head styling made famous with the introduction of the M1-X back in 1991...

Ray Cook, a passionate golfer, inventor, and engineer, created his first putter, the M1, in 1963. The M1 putter brought with it a PGA Tour victory. The wins kept coming, and Mr. Cook's putters continued to grow in prominence and recognition. The unprecedented precision Mr. Cook introduced to Tour Players continues to this very day in the Ray Cook brand.

Ever since the first Ray Cook putter was introduced in 1963, the Ray Cook name has been synonymous with high-performing putter designs. The M1 begins with the classic head styling made famous since the introduction of the M1-X back in 1991. There was no way we could improve on the design perfection achieved by that now classic shape. But beyond that great raw forging, this new M1 is a tremendous achievement in mallet putter performance.

Ugly but effective
By Rory (no, not him) from United States on November 12, 2012
OK, maybe not actually ugly, but it is not pretty either. If you don't care about looks, then this putter is solid, nicely weighted, comfortable and fairly easy to aim.
Pros:
solid feel
Cons:
Looks, the aiming strategy

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Not wild about the orange and white grip but am getting use to it since my putting has improved.

Ray Cook M1-A Mallet Putter
By Rick Weavil from Winston-Salem, NC on November 5, 2012
Looks good, but didn't feel as solid as my Ping Anser
Price was great

I would recommend this item to a friend.

It's OK, but it hardly FEELS like a mallet
By Ed BonGiovanni from Potomac Falls, VA. on November 5, 2012
. It looks slick and, to be sure, you can putt the ball with it, but to call it a 'mallet' is a gross brag. It's lighter than the putter that came with my Nicklaus set and about the same weight as some of my older, blade putters. I've gone back to my (heavier) putter that came with my set.
Pros:
It looks slick.
Cons:
It's not NEAR the weight of a mallet putter.
