The Gold Flex warm-up and tempo training aid is designed to improve your swing while providing a core muscle workout. The Gold Flex encourages a flatter swing plane and forces the downswing to be initiated by the lower body, both of which fight slices.

Several variations of this swing trainer exist, from "the whippy tempomaster" to "the orange whip"...the premise is the same, so go with the cheapest version. The whippy tempomaster allow you to hit balls as there is a clubhead attached...

Good swing aid and pre-round warmup tool

Works great for getting me quickly loosened up before a round when I haven't been able to hit balls. Even when I can hit balls I swing this before hand to loosen up. Also works well as an in between round muscle builder. I'm not yet sure if t has had any improving effect on my swing, but we'll see. It would be nice, but even if that doesn't happen it is worth it for the other uses.
