great if you can get it to work

A Bluetooth device that pairs with your phone. Out of the box it worked fine, went to use it for practice and after 30 swings its stopped working. It won't pair with my i-phone or i-pad. Having tried all suggestions by Swingbyte tech support they've suggested I return it to the retailer for exchange.

It's great and appears to record correct data. It would be nice if they had more info available on the statistics instead of having to google everything. They have a short explanation of each, but it is not always clear.
I would recommend this item to a friend.

I played in the World Am tournament in Myrtle Beach last year (08/2012) and had a chance to play with one of the co-founders of the Swingbyte. It was a tough tournament for me and I knew at the end that some swing changes were in order. I tried out the Swingbyte at the trade show and HAD to have one. I got it for Christmas and have dramatically revamped my swing in the past 3 months as a result of using it. It showed me what I already knew was happening (over the top) but it also showed me WHY, which was the key piece of information. As a result, my swing is now much more on plane. My tempo and timing have improved and my shots are going straighter and further. It's going to be a great year....
Pros:
Good information. Easy to use.
Cons:
The rubber strap that attaches it to the club isn't the best, as the unit can sometimes move around on the shaft; but I've heard that they fixed that problem.
I would recommend this item to a friend.

I use this for fitting for swing speed and other features. It is very close in information to other much more expensive tools I use.
Pros:
Easy to use.
Accurate.
Good interface with phone or tablet.
Cons:
The part that fixes to the shaft can slip a bit.

Does Not Work with Older Android Devices or Kindles

my mobile which is android based it too old and so does not support the app. Kindle does not support it either as there is a compatibility issue related to the Bluetooth.
