Best Fairway (-1 Star for Design Flaw)
October 20, 2014
You can really launch your ball with this club. On few occasions, I got more distance than my driver. Obviously I don't play with the best golfers in the world but I'm sometimes able to out-drive my partners teeing off with their drivers. It seems easier to hit than my previous 3-wood, a Taylormade V-Steel.
I'd give it 5 stars but lost 1 star due to all the dirt and grass getting into the groove behind the club face. Unless you hit it perfect, you usually have to use a tee to get the grass and dirt out. I'm sure Taylormade has a very good reason for it being there though. Also, the non-gloss white crown looks great but scratches can be seen too easily.
Pros:Distance, Distance, Distance. Forgiveness
Cons:Grass and dirt gets stuck into the groove unless you hit it perfect.
