TipTeeToe waterproof shoes
November 12, 2013
I've worn my new shoes twice with great success. I played 9 holes Saturday afternoon, walking the course. I had not worn the shoes prior, except to try them on, so they were not broken in and my feet felt great during and after play.
Yesterday morning I played all 18 holes with some dew and temps in the 40's. My feet stayed dry and warm. The sole of the shoe doesn't have the traditional grips but I navigated hills, side lies, and bunker play just fine. I drove to the course and back wearing them and after returning home I ate lunch and did a few things forgetting I was still wearing them. Unlike traditional treads I didn't track in any debris from the course as just one swipe cleans the sole.
I also really like the magnet on the shoe. I have clipped mine to my shoelaces but the strap is a more decorative feature and positioned closer to where I pick up the ball. I applaud the considerable thought that went into creating a very functional, comfortable, and stylish shoe for golf or other activity.
Pros:waterproof and please confirm that they prior to purchase
magnetic ball marker on shoe
Cons:Ones that are not waterproof will get wet inside the shoe if you play one wet fairways. If you play in dry areas then it's of no concern.
