Improving on the wildly popular JMAX series, the new and improved JMAX Gold features a two-piece construction that features a hyper steel body and a forged crown that maximizes weight distribution to easily get the ball into the air. Thinner and denser than the cast walls, the forged steel crown provides a lower center of gravity and enhances rebound off the face.
Crown pull casting technology creates a stronger more dense body so the walls and face can be made thinner to get more spring off the face and place more mass in the sole. The face is made as thin as possible with variable face thickness and structurally supported with three internal reinforcement bars.
The Gold's heavy 125 gram sole creates one of the lowest centers of gravity available in an iron. The result, even off-center hits fly longer and more accurate for lower scores.

The topline is designed to seamlessly mix and match with other Bazooka irons for a perfect complement to any set.

Great club

I've had the 3 JMax Bazooka for over a year. This is a great club that does exactly what its supposed to: replace a three iron. I've loved using this club since I got, it has a large sweet spot that makes it easy to hit.
Rockbottom sells the club with the regular set up so I had to have the club lengthened and the grip replaced to match my club set. I've since added the 2 JMAx Bazooka to my bag and got rid of my 5 wood.
Pros:
Weight and feel, distance.
Cons:
Nothing.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Bazooka worth the money

I like the weight and balance of the club. I was a bit concerned with the tapered shaft but it adds to the snap of of the shaft. I had to re-grip it as i use Mid-sized grips and it comes with a regular grip standard. I use it on the tee just above the deck on par thres and short par fours as it handles like a long iron and allows me to hit a more controlled tee shot.
Pros:
I like weight, feel, and balance.
Cons:
Grip was too small even for a standard grip. I wold suggest that when the club is ordered see if the Rockheads can change the grip orior to delivery or change the grip to match your glove size.

I hoped the look would grow on me, it didn't. I like thin irons and hybrids that look like mini fairway woods with a round head, this just doesn't look right to me. Can not fault the performance, but not the look I want

Most hybrids remind me of a mini-wood. These have more of a driving iron feel.

5 iron (24 deg) Nice, easy to hit club. I use the hybrid for all the long second shots into the greens as well as the longer par 3's.
This club already saved me in a number of tricky situations.
