The cavity of each iron is layered with an ultra-light carbon backing that dramatically reduces vibration and delivers enhanced feedback on every shot

With the Tour Edge Golf Exotics XCG-3, ya get an ultra-light carbon backing that dramatically reduces vibration and delivers enhanced feedback on every shot. Featurin' a slightly larger head shape that improves on the dual-density dampening system, this new design gives you more forgiveness, better responsiveness, amazing spin, and added distance - just what the caveman ordered!

Features:
  • New XCG-3 irons feature a slightly large head size for increased forgiveness.
  • Lightweight face design allows more weight to be moved to the iron's sole for increased forgiveness and higher, longer iron shots.
  • Thinner face design incorporates variable thickness technology for a higher MOI and less variation between center and off-center hits.
  • The dual-density dampening system covers the entire cavity of the XCG-3 with the thermal plastic elastomer (TPE). The TPE insert is a softer density in the scoring irons and firmer in the long irons.
  • The cavity is also layered with an ultra-light carbon backing that dramatically reduces vibration and delivers enhanced feedback on every shot.
  • Thin top line inspires confidence for players who still want game-improvement technology in a classic-shaped iron head.
  • XCG-3 irons feature 2010 USGA-conforming grooves

    Great hitting irons
By Kevin from Brentwood, TN on May 19, 2013
I bought these irons not knowing what to expect. The irons look great with a fairly thin top line but the best thing about them is their buttery feel. I have had them about a week and am really getting comfortable with them. I hve played for over 40 years and have been a scratch golfer but now carry an 8. I would recommend these clubs for anybody. My only complaint are the grips. They can tear up a glove and a bare hand.
    Pros:
Soft, buttery feel. Great distance and control.
    Cons:
    Grips

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Great Clubs at a great Price
By Manton from Medford, MA on April 25, 2013
I love these clubs. The feel on contact is so much smoother and more solid than my old clubs. Hitting the ball further and straighter and with much more consistency. And of course for the price can't see how you can go wrong.
    Pros:
    Distance
    Accuracy
    Consistency
    Contact/Feel

I would recommend this item to a friend.

    AWESOME Clubs!!!
By Jay Mills from Naples, Florida on April 11, 2013
I am a touring professional without a current sponsor and I wanteds to try these clubs after a client I teach told me about these clubs. I must tell anybody that will listen that these are the best looking and most forgiving clubs I have ever hit. It has put the smile back on my face and I wish I had tried these sticks alot sooner.
    Pros:
The look, feel and mostly the forgivness.
    Cons:
Nothing, I like everything about thesee clubs.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

    Quality& Price
By Ray from Kansas City on April 3, 2013
These are my first set of Tour Edge irons and I am really impressed with the craftsmanship. They look good at address with a thin topline and have a solid feel throughout the set. I like the weight of these irons which are a little heavier than my Adams, but the heavy shaft feels good on both long and short irons. Can't beat the price for what you get.
    Pros:
    Thin topline
Solid feel on long and short irons
    Price

I would recommend this item to a friend.

    TE Exotics Irons
By Jeremy from Roslyn, NY on March 15, 2013
Tour Edge, for my money, is by far the most underrated company out there. They produce some of the best fairway metals and hybrids you can buy without succumbing to the marketing games that many of the major manufacturers engage in. These irons really exemplify what TE is all about. They do the job. Plenty of distance and forgiveness with a fair amount of feel. A great starter set yes, but with the stock stiff Dynamic Golds, these are easily suited for a solid mid-low handicapper who isn't quite ready to make the jump into MCs or blades.
    Pros:
    value
    performance
    forgiveness
    distance

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Tour edge exotics xcg3 irons are sweet
By Paul from Palos Hills, Illinois on February 13, 2013
These irons are slightly oversized in terms of the length of the face which really gives you confidence. They are pretty traditional in head shape with a medium top line and sole which I love. They give you great turf interaction without the chunkyness of modern irons. When you can find a modern set of cast clubs that don't look like you could use them to shovel snow you give them a look and these will NOT disappoint
    Pros:
    Accuracy
    Distance
    Head shape
    Grips
    Shaft options.
    Cons:
    A little heavy

I would recommend this item to a friend.

RockBottom is by far the best!!!!
By Tyler from League City, TX on December 24, 2012
I have never seen a company do what these folks have done, I ordered these irons, a Taylor made wood, a putter, a 60* wedge, a ammo box of balls and a two gloves on DEC 22....Everything just arrived at my door this afternoon for a Christmas gift!!!!! I am blown away with the effort to get it here in time, the clubs are awesome and everything was as expected. I just priced these clubs this week in a local golf shop, they were $600 so if your thinking about these buy them. Thanks to Scratch and all his elfs!!! Y'all Rock!!!
    Pros:
    EVERYTHING, price, feel, look, swing
    Cons:
    Nothing to mention

I would recommend this item to a friend.

    Extra distance + neutral feel
By Brad Chivers from Queensland on December 10, 2012
This is my second set of irons and as a high handicapper am very pleased with how the feel to swing. Achieving good loft is fairly easy and the sweet spot is large. In addition they have added an extra 15metres to each club.
    Pros:
    Large sweet spot
    Neutral feel
    Extra distance
    Cons:
PW bounce angle too high. Extra wedge for chipping a must unless in thick rough

I would recommend this item to a friend.

    Great Purchase
By Doug from Machesney Park, IL on October 27, 2012
Before purchasing the tour edge exotics, I hit several different brands at a local golf shop. They are very workable and forgiving at the same time. From now on I only purchase clubs from Rock Bottom Golf. The price beats everyone and shipping is fast.
    Pros:
    weight placement
    workability
    sweet spot
    Cons:
    nothing

Review of: Tour Edge Golf- Exotics XCG-3 (4-PW/SW Irons Steel )
By Dwight from Port St. Lucie, Florida on August 4, 2012
I have used my new Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 irons twice. The short review is that I like them very much. When I decided try new irons, I hit some of the more well known brands. Then, I hit the Tour Edge clubs. The swing weight was just better in the Tour Edge clubs. I had been using Tommy Armout 845s Silver Scot irons since 1994 or so. They were great clubs also. Now that I am a bit older (58) I no longer swing as hard and no longer needed the stiff shafts. Thus my decision to purchase the Exoctics with a regular steel shaft. In comparing the distance between the Tommy Armour and the Tour Edge clubs I find that I hit the Tour Edge clubs 5 to 8 yards farther. Once I get a bit more used to the new Exotic XCG - 3 irons, I can tell that I will love them. I have no idea why the brand is not better known. I like them as well or better than any of the "big name" clubs I've tried, including Taylor Made, Cleveland, Calloway, etc.
    Pros:
The swing weight is nice. The clubs are a bright silver and are attractive, yet normal looking clubs. The technology of these clubs is as up to date as possible. The price from Rock Bottom Golf was fantastic and saved me $200 - $300 over some of the retail golf merchants that we all see advertised. I am very happy with this purchase!
    Cons:
I am not a big fan of the grips that came with the clubs. They are rough. I generally like to play without a glove if possible, but find I have to use a glove with these grips. I may get them changed to a simple tour wrap before too long.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Why is Tour Edge so overlooked?
By John from Pembroke, MA on August 3, 2012
Great set of clubs. These have some definite GI features but aren't embarassing to look down at. They have a decent heft to them, slightly wider soles and larger heads, but they are a sharp-looking set of clubs, they don't look like shovels. Very easy to hit with good distance and feel. I haven't carried a 4 iron in the bag for at least a year because they're tough to hit; I stroked this one on the second or third swing with it. I have no idea why Tour Edge gets no love. Have played other brands for years but slowly over the season have gone all Tour Edge, driver to lob. These irons are just the icing on the cake. At this price, too, they're genuinely the steal of the century. Give them a try, you'll love them
    Pros:
quality of construction, looks, feel, excellent grips, and PRICE
    Cons:
    nothing so far

I would recommend this item to a friend.
