Oh man...just what the doctor ordered (literally:) !

I also left a lengthy review on the Wilson D100 half and half shaft here, as I have both sets.........if you'd like to compare.
Lots of injuries later.....but there is hope........ I can see my consistent 8-12 over par coming back with this D100 ES iron set (in regular graphite), more than I can see it with the D100 50/50 shaft (in regular). Phenomenal smooth Matrix Studio shaft in the short irons, and deadly smooth accuracy with the 4-6 hybrid in the Matrix Altus. Long and high, stands out: both irons and hybrids.....and I do not usually mention "so many yardsgained" in my reviews, but in MY case: with these I could consistently see the ball going 10 yards longer (with the short irons) and even MORE with the hybrids ! GOODBYE bad vibrations in hands, arms and rotator cuff locations....and HELLO smooth, soft feel that sends the ball a mile (did I mention how nice THWACK the clubs sound when it sends the ball to the moon ?)!! AND OH BOY, these hybrids are just something: let's be honest, most of us can't land our hybrids on GREENS, they shock the heck out of us, and we struggle to get a 4 hybrid in the air with a mid trajectory or better on a smooth swing...oh and did I mention the oddness of hitting a 6 HYBRID instead of a 6 IRON ? WELL: I pulled my 6 hybrid today on a 182 yard par 3...... followed by a 4 hybrid on a T.....and a 5 hybrid on a 195 yard par 3, and the results speak for themselves: 6 landed three feet left of middle, on the green (less than 2 feet from the pitch mark), the 4 travelled more than 210 down the fairway (escaping bunkers on the way, which I aimed to miss), and the 5 landed well uhm in the middle of the green, less than a foot from its pitch mark.......and this is where this set stamped the I'M A KEEPER in my brain ! GOODBYE old thinking, HELLO fun, fun, fun for mid to high handicappers (or the non-brand-prejudiced-player). WHICH BRINGS ME to a NICE problem you may have: if your 7 iron in this set gets 10 yards more (maybe now 160-165) and your 6 hybrid in this set now accurately hits 175-185, you may have a gap at 165-175 yards ? FOR ME, not a problem, I will just hit my 6 hybrid even easier... kinda tickle it !!!
I see elsewhere some people "complain" about the busy white graphite shafts. REALLY ? Who cares ? Modern look, not overly busy as they say....and REALLY: if you are looking at the shaft and not the club head you will generally mishit, complain and look for blame any ways ? :) I just LOVE the white graphite shaft (look, feel etc).
All that's left to say is: If I gave the D100 irons with 50/50 shafts (and no hybrids) 4 stars, I have to give the D100 ES set (in graphite) 5 stars...because I believe one will get the 4,5, and 6 hybrids under control in no time (if you can adjust your thinking that the 5 and 6 irons, especially, will be replaced by hybrids.....but hey, who cares, I rather putt for dough than carry my bag for show !!! :)
Light but right weight (really)
Soft feel, little vibration
Fantastic hybrids (have hit TaylorMade, Adams, Cleveland, Cobra and Nike hybrids recently but the Wilsons come out on tops for me !)
FUN is back !!!
Cons:None. Maybe that some golfers know too little about the quality clubs Wilson produces (like these).
