With C-grooves that grip the ball on impact, the Yes! Golf Ladies Athena Mallet Putter gives ya high accuracy puttin' guaranteed. The head has two pontoon-like appendages positioned behind the heel and toe that are constructed with the majority of discretionary mass at the back of each. If yer anythin' like this here caveman, that there sentence didn't make much sense. Translation: the weight distribution makes this a very stable putter that's sure to give ya good and accurate hits even when ya strike the ball off-center.

This is an excellent putter overal, and it puts a great roll on the ball. However, I do find it a bit too lightweight in teh head. I may add some lead tape on the two "wings" to get the weight up by about 16 to 20 grams, which is about how much added weight I believe it needs. Otherwise, this putter would have gotten a 5-star rating from me.

Rolls the Ball

I bought this putter at the time that I switched to a cross handed grip. This baby really makes the ball roll which improves tracking. I have several mallets but now I prefer to use this one. :-)

I wish the grooves on the YES putters were all horizontal and not cut in an arc.

Nice face reaction and feel

Really quality putter. Nice feels when balls comes off the face. Unique design on the bottom, the back half of the sole sits off the ground, so it helps stop stubbing the putter on the way back. Also helps when ball is next to the collar of the green. The weight is good and comes with nice magnetic head cover. Good putter for man or women, I bought the 33" , and am making lots more 4 & 5 footers. Super price!

It says it is ladies so it is 33 inches but it is still heavy enough, I tried the shorter putter to get me more bent over and more over the ball and I had success with it. Great feeling putter
