Green Monsters Bamboo Tees are proven by independent testing to be 7 times stronger than leading hardwood tees. And nothing could be greener - bamboo is one of the world's fastest growing and most sustainable resources. Because they're so tough, they last longer - 50 Green Monsters is like buying over 350 of the leading hardwood tees.

Green Monsters come in standard 3 1/4" and 2 3/4" tee sizes, and in new 1 1/8" NUBBIES - which are perfect for fairway woods and irons off the tee - to help reduce resistance at impact. And to make these new small tees easier to find after each shot, they have a special eco-orange coating.

Great tees for hitting irons and hybrids
May 11, 2016
The short tees have been great for par 3's or shorter par 4's where you would tee off with a hybrid or iron. They put the ball in a great spot and I haven't broken one yet. The longer tees broke just like a typical wood tee, however, when I have hit my driver.
ProsShort tees are great
ConsLonger tees aren't worth the extra money

The tees seem to last a few extra holes longer, but will know better during the hotter months when the ground is more dry and hard.

The neon orange color makes these tees easy to spot in a variety of tee box conditions. The bamboo seems to be very sturdy.

Great Tees
May 7, 2015
I like the small top. I would imagine it creates less friction and allows the ball to take off more freely. The short orange ones are great for when I'm not teeing off with driver. No more looking for split tees on the tee box for par 3's.

Not as strong as I thought
April 19, 2015
I broke one every single time I would tee off and it kind of became the running joke throughout every hole. My guess is that I should have bought the next size down so I cannot blame is entirely on the tees. They held the ball up and I'm use to breaking tees anyway so I wasn't very upset about it anyway.
ProsLike the price for 3 bags and they don't scuff the bottom of my driver very much
ConsWas expecting more durability

Great longlasting Tee
November 17, 2014
I use the smallest tees of this brand. The short "stubbies" are great for par 3 holes when the grass on the tee box is just a little to short to get your iron under the ball. Also where I play there are some tee boxes that have mats. Before I always was struggling breaking off tees to get the right height. With theses short tees this is no problem any more. And they are strong! Even the occasional miss hit will not splint or break these tees easily.
ProsShort size ideal for courses that have tee off mats also
ConsBe aware your fellow golfers will attempt to steal some from you !

The little t's don't break and they last. They barely stick in the ground and when you hit everything comes up. They get lost in the T-box after he shot! Lol
ConsThey could be 1/4" longer.

Good tee's, I don't know about 7x stronger
October 7, 2013
These tee's are great and do what you want them to, as far as holding the ball up and not being in the way. They do feel a little stronger than the generic tee's you can get at Wally World. Played a few rounds with them and I used an average of 5 a round. They do stand up well and when i was breaking them they were not snapping completely apart so I was able to save the broken ends for the par 3's instead of finding one on the ground at the hole. They do stand up better taking them in and out of the ground when they dont break and you re-use them, just a little pricey for 50 when i can spend a few bucks and get a few hundred.

Frogger tees rock
July 23, 2013
I like using the small frogger tees on the short par 3's. The tees are just right when you want to hit the ball on the money. Don't pick up someone elses broken tees when you can play these for next to nothing.

These tees broke very easily for bamboo tees. Usually I can get through a round with 3 or 4 tees using bamboo. The Froggers break a little more easily, but do still last somewhat better than wood.
