Stinger "COMPETITION" tees average 14 yards farther than a golf ball hit off of a regular tee...
The thinner head and shaft of the Stinger Golf Tee minimize golf club obstruction and deflection, thereby maximizing club head stability upon impact. This improves golf ball flight direction as well as distance.
Because of their ultra-streamlined shape, Stinger Tees go into hard ground much easier than regular tees, and the sharp tip of the Stinger tee is perfect for cleaning dirty club head grooves.
Unlike regular "painted" tees, the special natural finish of the Stinger Tee won't leave ugly, hard to remove marks on the bottom of club heads.
In addition to their performance benefits, environmentally, Stinger Golf Tees are the most "golf course friendly" tees on the market today. Because of their unique size, shape, and special finish, Stinger Golf Tees will biodegrade in less than half the time of regular tees (and corn tees), and Stinger Tees absolutely minimize the damage done to expensive turf cutting blades. Golf course superintendents will appreciate this.

Great tees at half the cost of retail. The caveman does it again.
Well worth it!
July 27, 2016
The 4" length is a bonus on downwind holes or anytime you need to hit it a little higher. Bamboo is strong and these don't break like standard wooden tees. I also like the fact that they aren't gimmicky (brush tees, etc...) They also don't bend like plastic tees of the same length when the ground is a little firm. I would choose them again in a heartbeat.
Prosextra 1/2" over standard "long" tees bamboo is strong - they don't break easily not gimmicky looking
Consnatural color is a little tougher to find on the teeing ground when it doesn't stay in place getting ball to stay on top is a little tricky because of the small head size
A little tee with big pop
July 22, 2016
The small head and thin shaft are easy to push into the hardpan that's baked in the summer sun.
ProsEasy to stick in the ground.
July 15, 2016

Los Osos, CA
July 12, 2016
No joke...added 3- 4 yards to my tee shots!
June 27, 2016
it broke so easily. Can't really confirm if it makes the ball goes further. Anyway, it was on sale so it's a good price.

Love these tees and it's worth the extra moment to stabilize this small headed, low-friction tee.

Ball comes off clean. Great price.
Seem to do what they say

I really like the stinger tees and they seem to give me a few extra yards
February 5, 2016
Just my favorite tee....
hard to keep ball on top of tee
February 5, 2016
I got the long skinny tees that are hard to keep ball on top of tee. Should have gotten one that has a bigger top. Did not see a difference in distance with these tees.
Consno difference in distant than my regular tees. Hard to keep ball on tee
January 6, 2016
I love this tees, I started using them after a friend recommended it. I haven't used any other tee in over two years. Little resistance and last a while. I can play a round and use one or two tees.
ProsLittle resistance, eco friendly.

Disappointed with these tees
September 16, 2015
I purchased these tees, because I've seen them on the golf course a lot this year and wanted to try them myself. Besides spending what seemed like minutes trying to get the ball to stay on the tee, one swing and they were broken. Just not worth it to me.
ConsDifficult to get the ball to stay on the tee Break easily
give them a try
August 30, 2015
i would see stinger tees on the tee box of the course i play and always wanted to give them a try... and with rockbottoms deals i could not resist
Prosgood tee and a good price
August 26, 2015
I use the 3.25 tee, works great!
They are tees
July 28, 2015
The tiny little head makes it a little tricky to set the ball on top of it.
ConsA little tricky setting the ball on top.
July 24, 2015
I guess I fell for the headliner one these tees. Smaller top to decrease driver resistence.. maybe true but with smaller top means thinner shaft.
Consbreak after most shots with driver
It's a golf tee!
July 16, 2015
Not sure why the name stinger, but its a golf tee in my desired length. Holds any golf ball solidly and that's all (no extra yards or straighter, etc).
July 12, 2015
good price for tees
Competition heads very small, Break easy
July 9, 2015
Tees are great, seem to help just a little with distance due to lower friction from the tiny head, but nothing major. The heads on the competition tees are VERY small, on a windy day they are not the hot ticket, too hard to keep a ball on the tee. Unless you tee the ball high so that there's not much tee in the ground, they break easy, basically use the tee once. I actually cut the tees down so there isn't much in the ground so that they pull out and not break off. They last a lot longer that way, but involves a little work. Over all I am happy with them, once I cut them so that I get more than 1 hole per tee. Next time I'm trying the regular tees with slightly larger heads
ProsSmall head is great for distance, and minimal resistance to club
Consbreak easily, competition head is really small!!
Distance & Accuracy
July 5, 2015
Tried these a few weeks ago and consistently see 15+ yards off the tee and I am hitting more fairways. My buddies said they have never seen me drive the ball so well. I'm not having any issues with the tees breaking more often as others have mentioned. Bought the 3 1/4 tees. Love these!
July 5, 2015
Believe it or not these actually perform very well.
SMALL HEAD= BIG DISTANCE

Scratch beats the competition to a tee!
May 2, 2015
I love these tees and have trouble finding them in larger quantities and at a reasonable price. Lucky for me I found them here. Speedy delivery made my purchase even better.!
ProsThese skinny tees create very little friction and allow me to hit more of the ball and less of the tee.
ConsDue to their skinny-ness, they do break more easily than most tees but that's to be expected. Also, you need a bit of a steady hand to set the ball since the head of the tee is small.
March 10, 2015
ProsReduces the amount of ball sitting on the tee
ConsHard to get your ball to stay on the tee.
March 8, 2015
don't worry about hitting too much tee, just be careful on a windy day! a small platform

23/4" Stinger Tees
February 24, 2015
The Stinger Tees are a great deal and they are just what the golf Doctor ordered.
Used them for years
February 19, 2015
It's probably all in my head but I enjoy hitting my driver off these tees than plastic ones. Less friction with this skinnier tee.
These go in the toughest frozen box!
February 13, 2015
I'm not sure if they help any with distance but they sure do make it easier to tee it up in this frozen time if the year! Come on Spring! (although I like the topspin runs on the concrete like fairways! )
January 23, 2015
I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED THIN TEE'S
Stinger- 4" Competition Tees
December 22, 2014
Length I was looking for.
ProsPerfect length for my swing.
ConsKind of hard to balance the ball on the very small heads.
Tee it high and let it fly
December 10, 2014
Great tee for really getting everything out of a drive. Maybe not the most durable but how can it be? Very small construction on the peg. It's designed for max distance.
ConsWish they were more durable but oh well
Kansas City Mo
Small headed tees
December 4, 2014
ConsThe head or ball resting area is too small. I found that in cold weather, it's not easy to get teed up.
November 18, 2014
easy on the enviro and you can chose the length
West Hollywood, CA
November 15, 2014
These tees will help you hit the ball long and high. Try these before all others and enjoy long, long ,long ball flight.
Can never have enough tees
November 15, 2014
Big ones. Small ones. Long ones short ones. Can never have enough tees.
Best wooden tee
November 7, 2014
I really enjoy these tees play them very well
ConsTeeing the ball up while drunk
November 3, 2014
Tee is a little difficult to get your ball on; especially the ones with the small head. They are durable. Not sure about the added distance.
ConsSmall head can make it difficult to set the ball.
October 18, 2014
I didn't gain any extra yards, but I do like the streamline and small heads on these tees.
September 9, 2014
Break easier than I thought they would.
ProsVery little contact with driver, easy to insert in ground, even with hard conditions
Avoid the Competition Tees - Buy the Pro XL's
September 6, 2014
Don't bother with the competition tees, get the pro-xl's. I accidentally ordered the 4" comps and meant to get the 3 1/4" pro xl's... guess I wasn't paying enough attention. The 4" are ridiculously long and the head is so small that balancing a ball on top of them is a challenge. As far as the pro-xl's go though they are great, since I have switched to them I don't even consider using anything else. PS RB has a great price on these!
ProsPro-XL's - Fairly durable, can't tell they are there!
ConsCan be a bit challenging to get the ball to balance in windy or soft ground conditions, the tee really has to be close to exact perpendicular in relation to the ground. The competition tees have just silly small heads and the 4" aren't needed unless you have a ridiculously deep face on your driver or are swinging up like crazy... pretty much why they are meant for competition purposes only!
Baton Rouge, LA
REALLY WORKS !
August 15, 2014
this tee does add distance
June 12, 2014
Not the strongest tee. Does add distance, but takes longer to tee up and break with ease.
everyone needs them
May 15, 2014
I think they break to easy
Conseasy to break
April 28, 2014
I use the 3 1/4" when I hit driver and the ball comes out long and clean. I have used other size and shaped tees and these are the best ones.
ProsPrice and performance
April 20, 2014
Stinger tees are awesome and Rock Bottom has the best price on them
Fort Lauderdale, FL
April 17, 2014
They work. Wood tees with a smaller profile.
Good tees, but not very durable.
April 2, 2014
These tees serve their purpose, but break quite easily. The price was right.
San Diego, CA
3" Competition Version
March 24, 2014
I wanted to try these tees out (I typically use the standard 3-1/4" wood version). Didn't notice much difference in distance or feel, but did notice it's a little harder to balance the ball on the smaller top. I'll most likely go back to the old school ones when I'm done with these.
ProsNo paint to scrub off my driver or 3 wood
ConsHarder to balance the golf ball on the smaller tee head
March 8, 2014
Hold up the ball
February 8, 2014
Wooden golf tees are pretty much wooden golf tees. I just prefer these and the small head takes up less room in my pocket.
By Fred Bailey
Just what was advertise
January 19, 2014
Nice looking tees
ConsStill practing on hitting my drive with these tees.
January 17, 2014
Like the durability of these tees, prefer the smaller head, less contact with the driver prolongs the life of the tee
Prosstrong, durable, small head excellent value.
November 22, 2013
Love these tees and the price is about 1/2 cost of retail stores.
ProsEase of hit through the tee which allows greater distance. More give in case you don't catch ball perfectly.
ConsHard to get ball to sit on top of tee but worth the effort.
