Weather data: Having the latest information about the weather on the golf course is critical to peak performance. The ES12 smartphone app has an integrated weather function to make knowing the latest forecast as convenient as possible. Simply input your zip code and view your local weather, including a radar image of the surrounding area. Know your weather, before it hits.

Take notes:
  • What was happening when you hit that perfect (or not-so-perfect) shot? Did you have good shoulder position? Were you feeling kind of tight? Did you do something differently in your stance that improved your drive? Take note! Never again forget about those small things that happen before, during or after your round.

    Interactive range session:
  • Record, Report and Review The smartphone app connects directly with your ES12 device via Bluetooth, giving you the ability to track and analyze your practice sessions. Once you hit a ball, the speed and distance are displayed on the LCD screen of the ES12 while the information is also displayed and stored on your smartphone.

    Share your scorecard:
  • A great day on the golf course is even better when you can share it with others! The ES12’s integrated scorecard function allows the user to log their scorecard in real time, save it for future comparison, and even share it on Facebook, Twitter, and by email with your family and friends.

    Need help with club selection?
  • The Course Caddy gives you the ability to input the distance you need to hit your ball. By pulling all of your logged range sessions, the ES12 will make a club recommendation based on your past performance with each club.

Battery life: The ES12 is powered by a standard 9V battery (includes 2 – Duracell preferred). The standard life of a 9V battery in this device is about 16 hours.

Cool device, but does not register every shot

I like this product when it works, but it will miss shots which is frustrating, I understand that you need to put the ES12 in the correct position away, and that you need enough space for flight for it to get a reading, and that fat shots will not work, but when I have all the right steps to ensure it should work, it still will miss many shots which really annoys me for how much I paid for this.

Found the setup process very easy to follow. Simply downloaded the ap, entered the activation code and paired it with Bluetooth. On the range it was as easy as placing it on the ground and hitting. Feedback is immeadiate and fun. Discovering how much further my buddy hits was not so fun. This was a good purchase.

its excellent in estimating your yardage but has some bluetooth problem with android. i went straight to the range today and hit over 400 shots. if you hit straight, the distance is very accurate. even some mishits were pretty close to real distance. from long to short hits, its amazingly accurate. and great app for ipad only.

I have used this item twice. Both times it gave inaccurate readings. Once off of a mat, and once off of turf. i use my rangefinder and find a target (the 150 marker was actually 144 from where i was), consistently hit it over the target - in the air- and i got readings of 141 to a high of 145. this happened more often than not. also divots flying thru the doppler radar area will skew the readings.
    Prosnot much
