The Medicus ArmMaster training aid is inexpensive, lightweight, and perfectly portable. This ingenious device uses simple straps (including the vital center tension strap) to improve your swing.
The Medicus ArmMaster golf training aid straps on just above your left and right elbows, encouraging you to keep your upper body in a fixed and correct position throughout your swing. If you suffer from "flying elbows" the Medicus ArmMaster will keep your right elbow close to your side, reducing your chance of pulling your shoulder. If you have a tendency to over swing, or have a less-than-stellar down swing, the Medicus ArmMaster is for you. Take technique, form, and precision out of the theoretical and into the practical with our ArmMaster golf practice aid.

Worked Wonders
February 5, 2016
From the first time I tried it , it began to help. My irons were always going very far to the right. This immediately straightened them out. Not very comfortable but worth the discomfort.

Works. But not too comfortable

Works but not very comfortable!
April 29, 2015
This device definately keeps your elbows from flying out during the swing but the straps are not very comfortable on your arms. I would have like to seen more padded straps rather than just large velcro straps. I can use it for a short time to get the right swing feeling and then remove it and try to copy the same motion.
ProsKeeps your arms tucked during the swing, not very exspensive.
ConsnNot easy to put on and uncomfortable arm straps.

Good for beginners or flying elbows
April 8, 2014
I am 67 years old with a fade and having trouble keeping elbows close to my body. I practice with the swing trainer and it seems to be helping me keep elbows in and cutting down on fade. It is a bit hard to get use to wearing at first but just hang in there and it should help. I also seem to be picking up some distance. I feel I am making more square hits on the ball.

Does what it claims
September 3, 2013
This product does what it claims. I experience less excess movement in my arms during my back and down swing. It is not a cure all but focuses on one specific problem in my swing.
ProsThis product keeps my arms in sync and my right ATM down during my down swing. It does what is advertised.
ConsThis product is difficult to put on and is generally uncomfortable for long practice session. I have large arms and a large chest so this product is not one size fit all.

Might be of some use to beginners or if you have identified your arms are getting separated during your swing

It works to fix this fault...
July 8, 2012
This will stop flying elbows and helps with connection. It's a bit cumbersome to put on and move in, but it works.
ProsIt works as stated.

Straps are a little cumbersome and you must have a working knowledge of the golf swing first.

Took a recent video of my swing... saw flying elbows. Used it twice, so far. No matter how much you try to take "your normal swing", the medicus keeps your elbows tucked in. Just finished playing 24 holes and hit 14 of 19 fairways. Very happy!
