I only play 9 holds at a time, so cannot comment on battery life per charge. However, it seems good as it still shows solid green after 9 holes. There are virtually no parts that can break. My last caddy was a mess. A wheel on the back had a plastic housing like others, and it broke easily when it went up a hill. The 1200R has a strong metal housing for that, so no worries. The range of the remote is pretty good at least 200 yards, and ability to customize is awesome; 1 speed for slow maneuvering, 2 for normal pace of walk, 3 for uphill pace of walk and 4 for catching up. The elastic bands for holding a golf bag works good. By the way, superb customer service by Mark and Dick.
ProsVery sturdy and well designed.
Consbit noisier and slipping wheels

Fairly easy to assemble and battery already charged when it arrived. I took it for test ride around yard and pretty easy to figure out remote. I played my first round with it last weekend. It worked well, but I'm still learning the most efficient way to use it. I found for me manual mode was the best most times, but being able to send it ahead by remote was a big advantage at times too. It had good range for me... at least 50 yards or more. I struggled a little bit switching between manual and remote modes. I think I have that figured out now. In summary, I really enjoy walking and this cart just enhances the experience. The unit is fairly compact when folded and did fit in my truck with my clubs when I split the backseat for my clubs. Just a tip - You may want to consider getting a bag if you play early morning as it picks up grass clipping in with morning dew. You will get that with any cart though.
ProsEase of use, compact size for transport, stability on varied terrain
ConsSome accessories not the best... notably the scorecard holder is almost useless.Water bottle holder is okay, but is very limited in size. I still gave it 5 star because these are small cons at this price

My last cart was a Bagboy navigator .it was a great cart For 6 yrs. When it went belly up I was told it would probably cost $500 to replace the computer and what ever. Then I looked up other carts and found a great price on the GRX1200R at Rock Bottom golf.I read a lot of good reviews on this cart and ordered it from Rock Bottom. Wow! The GRX1200R was every thing and more than I expected. For the money I was able to move on to a brand "new"cart that functioned as well as my "old"navigator at less than half the price. Not only that but my old navigator seat fit perfectly into the seat bracket of the GRX1200R.
ProsPrice , sturdy.
ConsOnly two colors.

This was a gift for my husband and he is trilled with his new "toy". It is amazing to see it turn, go forward, speed up and down and then stop all from the remote control.

I am very pleased with this purchase. The golf course that I play is very hilly and this cart handles the hills well. Many of the golfers at my course walk the course and have electric carts. There are three of us who have the cart tek 1200 r. We are all very pleased with this product.
ProsSmooth running and easy to operate. Handles the hills well.
ConsThe battery is heavy.

Took this out for the first time and could not be more satisfied. Built like a tank, very responsive and runs smooth. If you love to walk but hate lugging, pushing or pulling your clubs and can afford one of these do not wait. Every group that I passed wanted to know where to get one. If you are thinking about one of these keep in mind that built like a tank means there is some weight to it.
