Project (s)

Soft is Slow without Speed

The all-new Project (s) offers an incredibly soft feel while continuing TaylorMade’s focus on low driver spin and significant driver distance. No longer does the golfer have to choose between one or the other with a single ball. That ball is Project (s).

Dual-Distance Core

The Dual-Distance Core in the Project (s) decreases the overall compression of the ball for a soft feel while maintaining rebound and speed. The Project (s)’s compression is 60, 10 less than the Project (a). The Dual-Distance Core is a two-layer system that has a large, low compression inner core that reduces unwanted driver spin and creates a great feel. The outer core consists of a softer-resilient polymer that also improves feel and maintains high ball velocities.

Aerodynamic Ionomer Cover

Due to the high COR of the Dual-Distance Core, engineers were able to use a soft ionomer cover that improves feel and control around the green. Compared to the competitive set, the Project (s) has the softest cover, which provides more greenside spin and soft feel.

The Project (s) uses TaylorMade’s high lift 342 LDP dimple pattern, which, in combination with the lower backspin construction, reduces drag throughout the golf ball’s flight for more distance. The result is a golf ball that delivers on both distance and feel.

Eco Friendly

Condition: Mint

These balls are new in appearance and will feel and play similar to a new golf ball. They may have very minor marks, but no scuffs or blemishes. They may contain player marks or corporate logos that do not affect the performance of the ball.

Taylor made project a ball feels great. Taylormade stamp on the refinished balls seems larger but dimples, flight, and distance are the same.

Good Deal on TaylorMade Project (A) Balls
October 4, 2019
95% of the balls were in near mint condition...some were sort of discolored or marked "Practice". Overall, I am happy with the quality and quantity of these balls (my go-to choice) for the price. RBG always ships quickly and communicates well about delivery.
ProsGood balls for the money. I never play "new" balls.

Near Mint...Not a Chance
June 30, 2019
Some of the balls in my box still had mud on them. The least you can do is wash your dirty balls off in a sink.

A few look like they have been underwater for a few years. You can see the skin is not white but poopy brown.

Love project a and tp5 balls, gave the used ones a shot and they feel great coming off short irons and the putter, distance is what I expect off the tee.
ProsGood used balls, no refinishes in the lot

Near Mint is not 100% accurate
June 21, 2019
I bought a box as this is a good price for "near mint" condition. I would give this box a 2.5 star. Most of the balls are in near mint condition but there were about 10 balls that were definitely not even close to mint condition. One of my balls looks like it was ran over by a lawnmower. Other balls are almost brown colored so who knows how long they have been sitting in a pond or something.

Really I paid for 2 dozen balls as the other balls will be tossed out or given to a friend

Prosabout 25 of the balls are in good condition
ConsThere was about 10 balls that are not usable. I would rather just pay for 25 balls knowing that they are in good condition rather then RBG stating they are near mint when in reality they are not close.
