The set performs very well with solid performance and great looks. Love the Nippon steel shafts with feel and kick point. Distance consistent with nice gapping between clubs 6 to 11.

My first set of Japanese-made clubs. Great to see a set of irons without lofts jacked to the moon. Definitely not a "distance iron" with pretty standard lofts. The heads are a little on the bigger side, but that's expected as they are Game Improvement sticks. They look FANTASTIC compared to other GI irons. They don't have massive offset like Callaway and don't have mile-long shafts like TaylorMade. I actually feel comfortable with this 5-Iron because of the increased forgiveness.

I would definitely recommend Honma (especially at the reduced price). The USA market has too many competitors for the Japanese brand to charge super premium prices. However with that said, these are a great deal under $700.

Perfect set for someone who needs Game Improvement clubs, but doesn't want them to look like GI clubs.

Beautiful Irons!

Like many other golfers, I had not really heard of Honma golf equipment before but after watching many videos and reviews I decided to give them a try. I actually tried out a set of Ping i210 irons in store that I really liked but I wanted to do some more looking online before buying and these irons from Honma seemed to have a lot of similarities to the i210's. Of course, the discounted price on these helped a lot and the 90 day return feature gave me peace of mind. I live in Montana and have been lucky to be able to use them about 5 times in the 6 weeks or so that I have owned them. I've been very impressed with the performance and feel so I don't think I will be returning them. They look beautiful, have a nice sound at impact and so far seem to be very well made. It was a little scary buying online without ever seeing them but I'm really glad I took the chance on these.

Great Game Improvement Irons at a great price

Thanks to the great deal at Rock Bottom Golf I've finally found a set of premium irons at a great price. Have used them at the simulator with great results. Hoping for a warmer day soon to get out on to the course.
