More Info
The 420 CS wedge was designed for players that have just started golfing to intermediate range. The wedge features make it as easy as possible to hit straighter, more predictable shots. The perfect wedge to help get your game to the next level!

Features:
  • Crescent Cut Sole: Gives the Solus wedge more flexibility in shot selection by lowering the leading edge and giving extra bounce control
  • Optimal Center of Gravity: Solus wedges contain a higher, more "rearward" center of gravity allowing for a better distance consistency and stability
  • Pro Grind Heel: A camber has been added to the heel area of the crescent cut sole making it much easier to play the hard-to-hit, open face cut shots

Not happy with this wedge. Too light, scratches easily and an overall cheap feel.

These clubs, look sharp, have a good weight, and sure helps make the sand traps less intimidating. Also, 3 different clubs for $99, can't beat that!

So far so good. I found it easy to get out of areas I was having trouble in. ie: bunkers and rough around the green.

    It's about dollars, not performance
    January 21, 2017
This is truly value for money. It's difficult to decide bounce, grip, degree and all that stuff so I decided to buy something cheaper than the best to see how I get on. I'm just not disappointed. I've found these accurate in terms of finding the target and length. I'm not sure the extra money for the bigger brands is worth it.
ProsBest value for money on the market in my opinion
ConsNothing really. I know there are better brands but I'm not sure it would improve performance at my level of golf.

    The best for the buck
    January 19, 2017
Without a doubt the best wedge on the market. Wedge is light and solid upon striking. Grips hold club firm in hand.
ProsWeighted nicely for solid strikes. You will not be disappointed if you buy this wedge

    Innovative sole, good looks
    January 13, 2017
In my opinion, this is a much better looking wedge than the original Solus wedge. Additionally this wedge is a good performer. I haven't done a lot of work with it yet, but I find it easy to swing and easy to get the ball up!
ProsThe innovative sole with a crescent cut out is a winner. Gives you the ability to adjust the club face angle easily

    Value Wedge
    January 11, 2017
I purchased the Solus 60 & 64 degree wedges to increase my versatility of shots around the green. I am a higher handicap golfer and didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on new wedges. I am very pleased with the performance and feel of my Solus wedges. Disclaimer I did replace my grips with Ping wedge grips. Just because they are longer and have markings for consistent hand placement.
    ProsValue, feel and look.
    ConsDon't have any.

    Great Beginner Intermediate Club
    January 6, 2017
I own the 52/56/60 and game the 52 and 56. Clubs are great for beginners and intermediates. Curved bounce allows for adjustment for shot shaping. Could use some better grooves that have more bite for more spin.
ProsGood for beginner and intermediate, curved bounce
    ConsBetter Grooves

    Nice wedges
    December 1, 2016
I've had the original Solus wedges 10 years ago and liked them. The 420CS wedges perform well in all scenarious. They set up nicely in the bunker when you open the face. Very pleased.
ProsHeel grind and ability to choose different bounces.

This was a great club for the price I paid (free) and is still a fine club for the actual asking price. It has great balance and great weight. It's easy to swing and I've had no trouble getting good spin with the 56 degree wedge. I will say the burnished finish wears off almost immediately (within the first 30 swings) so if you want a club that will maintain that darker color, this one is not for you.
ProsEasy to spin the ball Great Weight and Balance

Great product at a great price!
    September 14, 2016
This is my first set of wedges as I have alway just used what came with the set when I purchased irons. My first time out practicing with them I holed out 3 times, twice from about 5 yards off the green and once from 20 yards with a green side bunker in front of me! After only a few rounds I already feel much more confident over shots around the green and having confidence is half the battle right?
ProsNice weight Easy to square face at address Great from any lie
ConsGrip is very slick if even slightly wet
