What about Putting?
July 3, 2015
I read this book about 30 years ago when I first started playing golf . . . I loved it then, and it helped me a lot with fundamentals, grip, swing, etc. It still rings true, and re-reading has already helped tighten up some loose areas in my game. But it's a good thing that I also bought Jack Nicklaus's "Putting My Way" at the same time, because apparently, as Jack notes, putting wasn't a fundamental to Mr Hogan . . . I don't understand that. But hey! What do I know?
Pros:Good read, incredible descriptions of what happens during the golf swing
Cons:Nothing about putting . . . apparently it wasn't a part of the game that Mr Hogan worried too much about.
