Really Good Clubs for Occasional Senior Golfer
July 18, 2015
I've used these clubs for about 4 months and I really like how I am hitting the ball with all of the clubs. I've especially liked hitting the 5-Hybrid club, so I'm actually very tempted to get another one of the Adams Speedline Hybrid clubs. I'm playing about once a week now and these clubs have been a joy to use.
Pros:I ordered the +1 inch clubs because of my height, and I highly recommend that taller golfers get the longer clubs when the order or get fitted for new clubs. There really wasn't a re-learning curve with the playing golf with longer clubs. You might think one inch doesn't make much of a difference, but it does. The golf league colleagues noticed that I wasn't so hunched over when I was swinging the new clubs.
Cons:With this set, you only get 11 clubs, rather than 14 clubs.
Initially, you might miss having a 2-iron, 3-iron, 4-iron, and 5-iron, but you'll get over it quickly when you start using the 5-Hybrid with more success in similar situations where you used to use long irons. Though I miss using a 2-iron and 3-iron in certain situations, I've gotten over it. I know that I could just add a couple long irons to the set, but I'll probably end up joining the 21st Century by adding a 3rd or 4th wedge like everyone does for those special chipping and short-game situations.
