Maybe I'll need expensive wedges when I get better
By Stuart from Cambridge, MN on November 29, 2011

I got the 60 and 64 degree wedges as an antidote for the fact that I can't pitch or chip very well. I figured I would try to do with pop flies onto the green for the time being. These work very well for that, and offer a shallower club for popping them out of the bunkers as well.
Pros:
Grips, weight, looksCons:

Should have gone Cleveland
By Michael from Naperville, IL on October 30, 2011

I own a 64 Cleveland wedge and I like it but it did cost around $100 from another store. So I wanted to see if the price of a Adams sand wedge would be such a big difference vs the price. Well there is a difference in the control I have with that Lob wedge vs the sand wedge. The sand wedge doesn't create too much backspin and its launch angle is shallow compared to the lob wedge. Before you say "Well duh" the difference is more than in just the difference in the loft. The lie and surface of the sand wedge is poor. I would give this a lower rating if not for the cost.
Pros:
Price/cost
Cons:
Feel
Control
Back spinEasy, simple but effective wedge!!

Solid wedge
By Ryan from Los Angeles, CA on August 12, 2011

Mainly bought it to try out 64 degree wedge without having to pay a lot. While most of the time you get what you pay for, this Adams wedge does most of what every good quality wedge would do. Solid design, good spin and accuracy. It doesn't feel like other high-end wedge out there, but what else do you expect for $20? It totally does its job.
Pros:
Price, look, performanceCons:
noneI would recommend this item to a friend.

Nice wedge
By Andrew from Somerton Park, SA on July 11, 2011

There really isn't anything wrong with the wedge. I have been using vokeys and jaws for a while, got this adams to match the A7 set of irons and it feels quite nice, just doesn't feel like a weapon like the vokeys. Does get the job done, so if your preference is to spend $30 not $120, this is a GREAT option
I would recommend this item to a friend.
