Problems
By Chris Lawson from New York on May 27, 2012

Having all kinds of problems getting this downloaded and have had several computer geek friends help me with it. Directions and web site don't match and don't know what to do?
Merchant Response:
Hey Chris-
We're working on getting a support # for Bushnell that will help you figure out any issues you're having. Please watch for an email from the Cave Crew as you should be hearing from them soon!
Thanks!

I purchused due to the price and I got what I paid for. (XP, Win7and Win8).
1- Tried on 3 seperate PCs to load the program with no luck.
2 - When I did power the unit up backlight did not work making the unit unreabale
3 - Bushnell website let me download the free course but it stopped in the middle of the download. When I restarted the download the free course was gone from my account.
4 - I purchased it as a present for my wife for Mothers Day. Return date has expired. Now I have a useless item that I may use to skip across the pond on #10
I would not recommend this to my mother in law

Great Value!
By Tom from United States on May 11, 2012

Set up was simple using provided directions. Course search & download is fast, and transfer to device is a snap.
Pros:
Accurate readings. Enough storage space. Compact size makes it easy to carry and use on the course. Cons:
Device menu is a little quirky & redundant, but once course is selected, readings are reliable. I would recommend this item to a friend.
A Terrific Unit
By TH from Newton, KS on May 9, 2012

When I saw the price on this item I had to give it a try. It has not been a disappointment. You do have to subscribe to the satellite service, but for $25/yr it's worth less than $3/month. Also it had all the courses I play on... even the small 9 hole courses. I have been most interested in learning how far I can hit each club, and this unit has really helped with that.
Pros:
Accurate yardage to front, middle and back of greenCons:
No distances to hazard, but for the price that's not a big deal. Also takes a couple minutes to get set, so make sure you turn it on when you arrive at course, not as you approach the first hole.I would recommend this item to a friend.
Jury Still Out
By Jim from Pa on May 7, 2012

Thought I give this unit a try but the unit never worked. downloads were easym, set up no problem, but he green distanes stayed on 999 yards. Holes never changed form the first hole. Still want to try it and am requesting replacement.
Pros:
ease of set up. Cons:
didnt workVery accurate

I tested this out at a local course with gps enabled carts, it was spot on and fast. Hard to beat for the cost.

Golf GPS

Early days but excellent device and very helpful knowing yardage to pin

Works as Advertised and does everything I need.
By Jim from Harwinton, Connecticut on May 4, 2012

Gives you the yardage to the center front and back of the green. Compared to friends other gps units the yardages agree so I believe the unit is very accurate. If you want yardages to bunkers and hazards you will need a different model but this does everything I need and the price was right. The subscription price to load courses seems reasonable for the 100 courses in a year.
Pros:
easy to use and battery lasts through a few rounds nice readout.Cons:
the cover to the usb port is very flimsy and broke quickly. Bushnell support is sending a replacement as part of the warranty.I would recommend this item to a friend.
