Callaway Golf engineers were able to expand on the success of the FT-5 and surpass expectations with the FT-9 Driver. With the addition of Hyperbolic Face Technology, ball speeds across the entire face have been dramatically improved to generate even more distance off the tee.

Features:

Hyperbolic shaping is the cutting edge of driver face design. Mathematics and engineering combine to create Callaway's highest ever ball speeds across the entire face.

Proprietary technology creates maximum perimeter weighting and more discretionary weight by combining a carbon composite body with the titanium face cup. This allows for precise positioning of the CG to increase stability on off-center hits and enables ball flight customization for shot-shaping control.

OptiFit Weighting System enables golfers to customize their driver by giving them two CG locations to choose from: Draw for promoting a draw or reducing a slice/fade and Neutral for maximum workability.

Fusion Technology allows the stainless steel web weights to be precisely positioned for a CG that generates the desired Draw or Neutral trajectories and ball flights, letting golfers hit longer and more accurate drives.

Easy to hit

A good purchase with excellent results so far. Sets up pleasing to the eye which makes it comfortable to hit. I have tried several drivers but always come back to Callaway.

Pros:

Alignment and feel. Sweet spot has a nice sound even on mishits. Perfect shaft for driver head.

Cons:

I bought the draw version and will upgrade to an ajudstable driver next.

I am more than happy with the driver its every thing I expected.

Pros:

I have picked up a extra 20 yards on my tee shots,the light weight of the driver suits me ,I am really pleased with my purchase.

Slice gone

I bought this driver because i got a callaway ft hybrid with draw bias as a xmas pressie and noticed i was hitting a long ball straight, not my usual slice, so i thought if it works on a hybrid lets see what the callaway ft9 draw bias driver can do......bingo no more slice with my drives, most are straight or with some draw...what a club

Good driver for the price

I borrowed this from a friend the other day and played a round. I hit a lot of great shots with it but it is a little hard to hit the sweet spot everytime atleast for my swing compared to the Nike Sasquatch. Thats my personal opinion but i would recommend it to anyone on a budget.
