Do not buy this to use with a Mac. Their Mac software is broken and they are not even attempting to fix it. You cannot move downloaded courses to the device, which makes it pretty close to worthless.

I have owned one of these for a year. It is excellent. It gives the essential data and requires very limited user input. You do not have to be a gadget freak to operate it. Unlike some other GPS units, you do not have to maintain a regular subscription to use the Neo. You can sign up once and download up to 100 courses and they are yours forever. I have downloaded most of the courses in my local area and in places far away where I intend to vacation. If I decice to go on another trip to somewhere else then an additional $34.00 to download the courses for that area won\'t break the bank.
One more thing, most of the course mapping has been done from aerial photos. Occasionally you may find an error in terms of where the center of the green is. The Neo allows you to correct the data very easily - just a couple of button pushes.

Great little, lightweight unit.

I\'ve been using my Neo for almost a year without any issues (except last week when I forgot to recharge it). I usually get 3 rounds per charge.
We have GPS on the carts where I play and the Neo is way more accurate.

This has been a great help to me. No more guessing distances. Being able to download the courses was fairly easy, and it\'s great being able to know your distances to the green. I would recommend it to anyone. Small, and easy to use. No brainer!!!

Great Value!!! Easy to use just hit a couple of buttons each hole and you have everything you need. Software is easy to use with your PC as well.

I used my new golf GPS device (iGolf Nero) today. You have to download the course(s) that you usually play to your PC and then transfer that data to your GPS device. It’s not complicated but you may need to be computer literate. When you get to the course you turn the device on and select the course. The device automatically shows the distance to the center of the first green. To get the distance to the rear, front and center you press another button. To get the distance of your next shot you press a different button twice. When you get to the next tee box you press another button. That’s all there is to it. You don’t waste time looking for distance markers. I finished 18 holes in 3 and ½ hours.
You can spend over $300 for the fanciest golf GPS devices that do everything automatically: they know what course and hole you’re on and they can tell you the distance of your last shot by pressing one button. But, if you want to get a golf GPS device, don’t want to spend $300 or more and can learn which of three buttons to press as you move from hole to hole, buy a iGolf Nero. Oh, I dropped my score 4 strokes the first time I used it.

I have an igolf Neo that I am well pleased with for the $150 dollars it cost. It allows the user to map courses with up to 7 points per each of 18 holes. It holds 10 courses. An annual subscription may be purchased for $35 and will allow you to download upto 100 courses.

This unit is small but I have had no problem reading the screen even in bright sunlight. It does have a backlight but I have never needed it. The software that comes with the neo is easy to use. It allows you to backup courses you have mapped and install courses you have purchase.
