Nice but...

I love the clubs and the way they hit. However, after owning mine for 2 weeks, my driver head split away along the face... from shaft to almost the toe... and I'm no shanker. Irons hit great, the 3 and Hybrid seem fine. I had to order a new driver, did not return because I don't want to replace it with the same thing... too dangerous.

Great set of clubs

All the clubs hit well, nice grips, good bag with stand. I'm a middle aged novice who's played golf once or twice a year with various mixed clubs (borrowed or yard sale stuff) and wanted a modern set of matched clubs. These same clubs are offered as rentals at a local golf course so I had a chance to try them before I bought this set. Couldn't really have asked for more. The set is light enough to comfortably walk with the bag, and the shoulder harness is okay. I think these will suit me for a long time.
Pros:
Light weight, quality clubs and grips, good putter, nice bag with stand, good selection for starters
Cons:
No specific dislikes about the set but I can see a sand wedge and maybe a 5 iron is in my future.

Driver broke

the driver head dented and cracked after taking it to the range first day i got them.. and getting a new one has turned into a bit of a hassle. All in all the irons and bag seem nice and the quality is what you pay for i guess

this set of clubs arrived 3 days after I placed the order which was quicker than expected. I headed out to the driving range with my 14 year old son so he could give them a try. He is 5'10 and they are a good fit for him, maybe an inch too long so I had him choke up a bit. He was very pleased with them. After about 6 or 7 tee shots with the driver we noticed a split on the clubface. RBG replaced it with a new one, no questions asked. The replacement driver has been perfect, no problems.

With the name Powerbilt, you know you have a company that has been around for years and knows what they are doing. Irons have great feel. Driver has a classic look. A shallower face than most other drivers out there. However, great impact sound and good ball flight. Driver headcover unraveled and separated the first day. Student seeking replacement
