Beachbum should get a lot of use from this...

Living 10 minutes from the beach, and spending much of my time there during the summer, I have been looking for a beach umbrella to provide some protection from the sun. Shade is essential as any beach bum knows, since the sun burns not only your skin, but also the sand under your feet - imagine walking on lava rocks, which is what it's like on the hot days.
I have a large 10 x 10 canopy currently, but it's a beast to carry around, since I generally park a mile or so away at a friends house and walk to the beach from there.
The sport-brella allows me to shed some wieght while serving the same purpose of giving protection from harmful UV rays as well as scorching hot sand
Pros:
provides much needed shade on hot days on the beach.
Cons:
could be a tad bit bigger, although I think there is a slightly larger one (oh well)
I would recommend this item to a friend.

Love the Sport-Brella. Not only do you anchor it with the pole but there are also points around the umbrella that you are able to stake in. This means no more flying away umbrellas. The windows are great to open and let air flow through. I would highly recommend this product and buying it from RockBottomGolf.com. Locally they wanted up to $35.00 more for the same product.

The product is easy to set up - just a little heavy when you're first opening it.
We took it to Myrtle Beach and had shade in just a few minutes.
There was enough room for two adults on sand chairs with amble shade and elbow room. I wouldn't try to put more than that under it though.
Cons:
The window flaps ziip/unzip from outside the umbrella. If you're resting in the shade of your umbrella you have to go out/around to open or close the window flaps.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
