Free Shipping! This Tour Striker is targeted for mid-to-high handicap golfers and slower swing speeds
The Tour Striker 8 iron has been created especially for mid-to-high handicap golfers and slower swing speeds (under 90 mph with driver). Unlike a traditional golf club, the distinctive Tour Striker 8 Iron design has an elevated leading edge and reduced clubface area and "sweet spot".
The Tour Striker 8 Iron is designed to automatically help you hit down on the golf ball while leaning the golf shaft forward at impact.
Just by hitting balls with the Tour Striker, you will learn to deliver the golf club to impact with a descending motion, naturally apply forward shaft lean during impact, and learn how to get the Sweet Spot of the Tour Striker below the Center of Gravity of the ball, all of which will increase lag and retain energy, helping you hit the golf ball longer and more solidly.
Practicing with the Tour Striker 8 Iron will quickly change your swing and improve your ball striking. Transferring the feel learned from practicing with the Tour Striker 8 Iron to your own golf clubs and the golf course is an easy step!
In very little time, the Tour Striker 8 Iron will allow you to develop the forward shaft lean and great impact position that all great ball strikers possess. The Tour Striker 8 iron training club is cast of 433 stainless steel and comes with a light weight regular flex steel shaft. Specs:
Leading Edge: 0.530"
36 Inches
Loft: 36 Degrees
Lie Angle: 63 Degrees

Works as advertised
By Dave from Illinois on March 25, 2013
I used the club only a couple of times and it appears to work as advertised. I am a high handicap 20+ golfer. This club forces you to hit down on the ball correctly. You can tell when you hit the club correctly when the ball jumps off the club and goes a long way. I notice that when I hit it correctly my divot was ahead of the ball not way behind the ball. I look forward to working with this club as I practice in order to get a better golf swing with my irons.
Pros:
Good quality construction
Provides immediate feedback if you are hitting it correctly or not
Cons:
Nothing so far
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Helps see a problem, not solve a problem
By Andrew from Australia on August 12, 2012
Hitting this at the range, it shows you if you are not getting the club head through the whole swing and you are hitting the ball too low on the face. To be honest you can feel that anyway with a normal club, so if anything its not a bad club just to hit at the range but not sure how it will help you improve at all
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Excellent tool
By Nathan from Brisbane, Ausrtralia on July 30, 2012
This club is giving me the feedback that club pro's have either been unable to see or unable to teach. The feeling that you get when you hit this club correctly (and believe me it doesn't take long to do, if you follow the simple instructions from the pro on the DVD) is awesome. It teaches you how to hit the ball further with less effort and less stress as it takes away all of the thoughts regarding, swing straight, align your hands, watch your backswing.... you all know what I'm talking about we have all been there struggling to figure out why we duff the ball or don't get the distance from the shots we make. This club will change all of that
Pros:
Instant Feedback
Great DVD - simple easy to understand and really breaks down the components of the golf swing/ grip etc
Cons:
Nothing... I do however wish that I had found this sooner!

Seems to have some merit...
By Scott from Susquehanna, PA on July 7, 2012
My friend John added this to his growing list of swing trainers last year. He takes lessons once a week and his teacher approved of the purchase, which I guess says alot (unless your teacher is Gary McCord)...When he's on, he does quite well. He attributes alot of it to this...
Pros:
Seems to help my friend
I would recommend this item to a friend.
It Worked For Me
By Gregory from Spring Hill, FL on July 12, 2011
I liked the feedback the club gave when I used it correctly. I could "feel" how I should be swinging. It improved my distance and control after hitting just one bucket of balls with it. My clubs feel easier to hit as a result.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Tour Striker: Good training aid
By Richard from Norman on July 1, 2011
The Tour Striker performs as advertised...that's hard to find with training aids. There are no gimmicks with this club. If you have the proper lag in your swing, you'll hit the ball well. I purchased this club to help me develop lag, but it showed me I already had good lag, which was just as helpful. Additionally, because the club head is smaller, it's good for developing an accurate and consistent swing (it doesn't have an over-sized sweet spot like most irons). One thing I found interesting was that I absolutely crush the ball when I hit it well. I hit my normal 8 iron between 140-150 yards...I hit this club, which is supposed to be lofted like an 8 iron, about as far as I hit my 5-6 iron.
Pros:
- Performs as advertised
- Built well (i've used mine for 6 months)
- Forces you to swing with lag
Cons:
- It's frustrating :)
I would recommend this item to a friend.

Easy
