Wasn't right for me

Didn't feel as nice as other Aldila shafts, I think it is suited to lower swing speeds which is not me

Great shafts for slower smooth swings

Bought these shafts for my hybrids. As I'm getting older (early 40s), I've noticed that my swing speed is slowly decreasing (driver swing speed around 93 mph). I don't properly load regular flex shafts as easily as I used to but my swing speed is still too fast for senior flex shafts. I found these Aldila NVS 85 shafts to be perfect from a swing speed perspective. The tip is a little soft, which is great for elevating the ball off the tee, off the deck, or out of the rough, but at the cost of a little more shot dispersion. Those are the trade offs.
