My Honest Review on my heavy putter (F3-DF model)

I actually first heard about this putter from my brother who got it from this site. He has a different model then mine (more traditional looking). I tried out his heavy putter for a round and it amazed me. Very consistent strokes and i even won ten bucks off a very long putt. When i was looking at a new set i foun this putter on this site for the cheap price they had. i figured i mine as well get this. Its cheap enough that if i dont like it then i can just get an odyssey. well i got it and im glad i did. just like my brothers, mine was consistent. the grip that comes with the club is awesome, its a winn grip (one of the ones that feel really soft, sticky, and tacky) and it really allows you to grip the club. it is a heavy putter, thus the name. but dont look away from it just from that. the heavyness s what gives you the consistency (go to heavyputter.com for the technology behind it). it does take some getting used to, along with any club, but now im sinking every ball within 6 yds. amazing. my putting takes off several strokes off my game now. the feel on this putter is different. its not the best but it doesnt feel bad. i would highly recommend this putter for someone who is a high to medium handicap golfer to take some strokes off their game. purchase this putter now before they go out of stock. the best deal out there.

Very heavy putter which is what I like. Can adopt a pendulum swing with this monster. Face is milled which is good for slower greens. less roll than with YES putters which sort of grip the ball. More ping anser type in response. Terrific Value. A must for the very heavy putter enthusiast.

The DF-D3 really, really, really improved my putting

I was a terrible putter before the DF-D3, but now I'm taking $$ from the other guys in my foursome every time. LOVE this putter. I've golfed forever and over the last several years putting has been a real struggle. Before the DF-D3, give me a little 2-1/2' downhiller and it USUALLY took me two putts. Well, now I make that putt every time. Great feel and direction on long ones. The short ones just go in one after another. They advertise that it improves the golfer, not only roll, and that is SO true!
Pros:
I like EVERYTHING about this putter, although it took time to feel good. Now, it feels GREAT. Great direction and feel on lags. Short ones just go in. One thing that I may underestimate is the aiming system which is a half cylinder with a cut slot, because I see the line better with this. I'm not sure what is most important, but I've kinda assumed that the big thing about this putter is that it strikes the ball so on line on short putts. I was erratic with face direction when striking a short putt before the DF-D3.
Cons:
My putting improved right out of the box, but it didn't feel good until the third week. Now it feels great. Plus, early on I used to leave some surprisingly short. But, with practice and understanding, that is no longer a problem.
When you first try this, you may say, "Wow, this doesn't have that beautiful balanced feel of a Cameron," or "this doesn't have a sweet feeling strike." But if you put it back because of that and are a poor putter, I think you've made a mistake.
Or you may say, "I have never seen anything quite this ugly," and not get it. Could be a mistake.

Definitely improved my putting stroke. I have more confidence now especially on shorter putts. Putter definitley lives up to exactly as advertised. Awesome price again from Scratch.

I bought the D1-DF, 34\". I really had a hard time getting the feel of the putter. All the weight is in the shaft which makes putter head feed back difficult. Not very good for longer putts. But, I will say it has helped with putts 4 foot and under.

I thought they was crazy when they dropped the price on the putter. I bought the 33 inch DF-D1 and after playing a couple of rounds with it, I am sold on this putter. The secret to this putter, the faster the greens, the less you hit the ball. Thanks RBG

This putter is not for everyone for sure, but this will help players with a \'handsy\' putting stroke by taking the hands out of the equation. Read some reviews before you buy, this thing is genuinely HEAVY, but is high-quality and will definitely help a certain class of golfer. It has been used by pros to win tournaments in Europe, and a couple on the lesser PGA tours, though to my knowledge not on the regular PGA tour. Also, the grip is awesome, which might not seem like much, but it really helped me. Enjoy!
