These here Callaway Tour ix golf balls are slightly firmer and longer than the Tour i, and feature a tungsten-infused outer core that moves weight away from the center of the ball for a higher moment of inertia for less driver spin. So what does this get the average caveman? Well for starters, ya get more distance and accuracy off the tee. Its Thermoset urethane cover also generates short-game spin for more greenside control. It also features the amazin' HEX aerodynamics with a Sub-HEX design that's 'specially made for reducin' drag for longer, more stable ball flight. Its Reaction Injection Molding process creates a seamless cover with uniform thickness for more consistency.

These Tour iX golf balls are marked with High Numbers 5-8.
Please Note: Personalized Or Logo Balls May Not Be Returned!

These are by far the longest balls I've used. They are easily 20 yards longer than the Bridgestone B330s and the Titleist Pro V1. There is definitely something to the hex dimple pattern - if there wasn't why would other manufacturers use their technology (take a plastic bag and wrap it tightly around a Titleist Pro V1 and you'll see what I mean). Durability is excellent, spin/bite are superb and the feel with wedges and the putter is great. Titleist balls may dominate the market, but Callaway balls dominate in performance.

I always loved Dunlop balls and used them all the time, but I decided to try something different this time, so I bought a case of Callaways just for the hell of it. and I noticed I was getting a straighter shot off the tees, the ball doesnt go as far as the Dunlops' but not enough to make a big difference. I will trade accuracy for distance any day,
