Ray Cook, a passionate golfer, inventor, and engineer, created his first putter, the M1, in 1963. The M1 putter brought with it a PGA Tour victory. The wins kept coming, and Mr. Cook's putters continued to grow in prominence and recognition. The unprecedented precision Mr. Cook introduced to Tour Players continues to this very day in the Ray Cook brand.

Ray Cook golf putters have been winnin' on the greens for nearly 50 years - a long time even for this caveman! So why has the name stuck around all this time: golfers have put these clubs to the test. With over two hundred Tour wins, Ray Cook has been in the hands of the champion in all 4 major tournaments. Now, you can put these clubs in yer caveman mitts with the Ray Cook Golf Star Series Altair Putter!

Had this putter previously and it got sold in a garage sale when we were moving. That was a good putter and this one is the same feel and style that I liked.
    Pros:
Good value for a putter manufacture that was light years ahead of ping, Cameron and the others.
    Cons:
    none

    Great putter

This item is great. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a putter so I bought this one not expecting much but I don't notice the difference between this one and a more expensive one.

I had been using a mallet without much luck and decided to go back to a blade and I picked a good one. I am sinking a lot of six to ten footers and I'm not three putting as much. I would recommend this putter to a friend.
    Pros:
    The weight
    Cons:
